    Everything it claims
    I have been stalking LUS for years and not willing to pull the trigger because of shipping costs. Now that I can get it on Amazon, there’s probably no going back.This product feels lightweight going in, defines my curls, and dries looking and feeling like… My hair. Not stiff or crunchy or wet looking. And I didn’t use anything else with it!I had been using devacurl (after years of layering various drugstore products) and I always used some kind of spray to set that because the hold wasn’t enough – i didn’t realize that it was also weighing down my curls until comparing to LUS.LUS withstands going to outdoor summer functions and sleeping on it and my hair is still not a poofy mess. It also smells good.

    I never have known how to do my curly hair, still kind of don’t- but this product along with their hair gel is amazing! My curls are not puffy and they feel very soft. It doesn’t leave any sticky residue, but you do need to break the cast with the gel. My hair does not feel heavy at all. Love it! I’m

    To this day, I still love this product. I’ve been using it for months, and it’s amazing. Although it’s pricey for its size, I have 3A hair with very fine strands, and it definitely keeps my curls up. It’s lightweight, gentle on hair, and helps maintain long-lasting hold.

    Does not seem to work
    Did not work how I thought it would, my hair still looks crazy after it dries, looks like when I don’t put anything on it. Takes longer than my regular curl cream and hairspray routine

    Best stuff for curly heads
    I hate this is so expensive, but it’s worth it. I went with the curly girl method after years of fighting my hair. I have kinky coily, but not quite afro hair. It really sets your curls and makes them manageable. Nothing can completely get rid of my frizz because it’s humid here, but this is the closest I get.

    I find my results are best with still using a bit of a leave in conditioner before and a tad of a light gel afterwards in order to keep the shape for multiple days but it is so so good. I love the texture, lightweightness and smell of this product. It leaves my curls so bouncy and not weighed down. I just find without gel they can be not as defrizzed and defined as I typically like since I have more fine loose curls on one side and throughout my hair. I’d say I have 2b/2c/3a throughout and the curly one works good on mine and still doesn’t weigh down the more wavy parts

    My cousin who is a hair dresser recommended this brand to me as I’ve always struggled with styling my hair, makeup, and things along those lines. I grabbed the “curly” version to try, as the natural roots and underside of my hair is naturally curly, but struggles to hold an unnatural curl and is always unevenly curled throughout my layers.The first time I tried this product as directed and it almost was too much curl and looked a bit unnatural for my style of hair. The next few times, I found myself using less of the product and not soaking it in water as directed, but instead towel drying my hair and adding small amounts of water with the product as needed. This seems to be the best strategy to achieving more evenly curled hair across various length and weighted layers.Overall, I have yet to find a product that works as well as this one for the affordable price point. It also smells great and makes me fee very clean and put together after using. I may consider downgrading and trying the “wavy” version of the product in the future, but for now, this one works great and I’d highly recommend it.

    Still a little hard when dry but once u separate it, the curls are very nice. Unfortunately, ur hair has to be soaked to use this product so drying time is VERY LONG if u have a lot of hair.

    This product works amazingly. The first photo is my hair if I simply wash it and let it air dry, the second photo is if I wash it put this product in and let it air dry. (This picture was taken after a full day running around at work) I have tried so many products for my naturally curly hair and it either leaves my hair crunchy and hard or limp and lifeless. Lus leaves my hair so soft to the touch it feels like I have nothing in my hair. For my hair I use 8 pumps which is about the size of a quarter, I put it in my hair straight out of the shower do not dry your hair you want it very wet. I flip my head down and scrunch the product in. I then take a towel wrap and gather my hair into the large end of the towel and wrap my hair in it. That’s it once I take the towel off I just let my hair air dry. I have recommended this to so many people it is worth every penny.
