    Wow. Outperformed my expectations.
I didn’t expect much from this style of mount. I’m a fan of andobil and own a few of their products. Their phone mount that tightens into a cup holder is my favorite product.I decided to try this new phone mount based solely on the brand. At first I was skeptical at its ability to adhere to the dash. It does so very well. I also sat it on the floor mat and loaded it with lint and debris, effectively rendering it useless. Then rinsed it off with the hose. Let it dry and it mounted right to the dash like new. It’s not so much of a sticky back like tape is. It’s tacky like a cling decal. As far as the mount staying in place and being reusable I had no problem. For context I have a jeep with a padded leather-like dash. It’s dimpled/textured. The kind of dash that suction mounts won’t lock to. It’s also very curvy and rounded. This mount stayed where I put it through regular driving. I didn’t go off roading or hill climbing, but I did do some highway maneuvering and went over potholes and train tracks without issue.I thought putting my phone in and removing it from the mount was going to be impossible with one hand. At first it was. But with a little bit of technique and persistence I found how to insert and remove my phone one handed. I have an iPhone 8 in an Otterbox defender. So not a huge phone but bulky with this case. I also tested it without a case. Then I tested an LG G5 with and without an otterbox. I was able to get the one handed mount/removal technique down easily with the lg.All in all I was pleasantly surprised by this mount. It feels durable and no parts of it look like weak points or areas for concern. It’s super easy to move around, but stays in place when you’re driving. I live in the Midwest where it’s not uncommon to see all 4 seasons in a 24hour period. Suction mounts never work for me. This is the first dash mount I’ve had that leaves me confident in its ability to work in any weather. The only drawback to this mount, is the little rubber nubs that hold your phone in place. Depending on your orientation or specific device, those nubs can cover a tiny bit of your screen. It doesn’t at all in portrait, but in landscape it did slightly. Not enough to complain about but worth mentioning as it my bother some people.

    PERFECT!! Buy it!!!
This little contraption is excellent for keeping my iPhone 13 Pro Max with a silicone case in place while driving. I drive a Hyundai Sonata 2013 and I was tired of the gigantic phone holders I tried in the past taking up half of my visibility or blocking my radio/music controls (and still being too low to safely see GPS). I needed something that would sit “on top” of the dash as the interior of my car is just not that spacious. I’d end up smacking the other devices I tried to install previously or just getting annoyed with their placement not being quite right. This is exactly what I was looking for. There is no sticky adhesion to “fix” it to the dashboard. It grips using silicone – which is effectively harmless to your dash and reusable when cared for. So far, I’ve picked it up and moved it about 5 times without issue and no subsequent slipping, residue, or marks. This mount holds the phone vertical as well as horizontal and is stable on turns, over bumps, and in hard stops. Is it a little difficult loading your phone in? Sure. But in my experience, ALL phone mounts have some level of difficulty or overcomplicated “solutions” to loading your phone in. This is a simple, effective solution for people who don’t want to hassle with sticky adhesives or bulky setups. I do not find that the mount effects my screen or ability to use it. So far, it has not caused any false presses of the screen, either. It’s perfect!

Strong hold to the dashboard and very stable. Overall a good product that does what it says it will.

    The best phone holder
This is hands down the best car phone holder there is. No moving parts to break, and you can just slide your phone in and out without effort. I love that you don’t need to adjust anything, ever, and you can put your phone vertical or horizontal-again, without making adjustments. There’s a little slot to keep the charging cable when it’s not in your phone, too, and that’s a feature I didn’t know I would love. No more pulling the cable from random nooks and crannies.I recently bought a new car, and the first thing I did wren I got it home was order another one of these. I can’t live without it.

May not work on every dash
I had purchased this very well made phone holder to use my phone in the upright orientation but there was no place on my dash where that would work. It also doesn’t adhere to curved areas of your dash.

    It doesn’t stick.
2019 Mazda CX5I tried it on my dash behind and also to the size of my infotainment screen. Both times the adhesive immediately started peeling at the corners. If it was just that, it would have been fine.It JUST barely fit my GalaxyS23 with Commuter OtterBox case, but the angled grips were bending. So it kind of fit, but not really. The biggest downside is one of its features. The holder swivels on its base. That’s great for readjusting the angle. However, every time I had my power cord plugged into my phone in the holder, the power cord would cause the swivel to pull in the wrong direction. It would be much better if the swivel could lock. The swivel issue turned this into a return for me.
