    Sun hat for bigger heads!
    I am one of those people who burns if they even look at the sun, so I am very well experienced with a wide variety of sun hats and parasols. Unfortunately, I also have a very big head for a woman (23.5 inches) which means that most hats just don’t fit. I usually buy hats from a different brand that likes to be worn on sundays and afternoons (which juuuuuust fit snugly), but I wanted a few hats to tuck in various locations for emergencies, etc, and I hate to spend that kind of money on something I won’t be wearing very often. This hat was perfect! The quality isn’t quite as nice as the pricier brands, but is on-point for a $15 hat and perfectly adequate. The sizing is the most generous I have encountered so far; the hat sits a little shallow, and doesn’t constrict my head at all, so it gets major points for that. Good deep brim that completely shades my face, and a back cape that covers pretty much all of the neck area that would be exposed by a basic t-shirt. I’m buying more!

    It fits!
    I was worried since I have a bigger head than average but this hat fits fine, albeit just a little tight. My head measures about 24 inches around from my forehead to my nape.I always have my hair up one way or another, so the hole for my ponytail is wonderful! The bow helps make it look a little cute and not as awkward. The flap covers my neck well and the brim keeps the sun from hitting my face. Worth it purchase!

    Large enough
    I’m thankful I know how to sew as I needed to modify this hat. The brim is very adequate for coverage. The cap part is not adjustable, it was too loose, the tie in the back was not sewn in the correct place for tightening. I did trim some of the long fabric hanging in the back, it was just too long. The hat is very well made and of a durable fabric.

    Super Waterproof Sun Hat
    I used this hat on several rainy days while traveling in Europe. It allowed me to look around and not be covered by a big umbrella. The day I was on the riverboat looking at the castles along the Rhine, it was damp and raining off and on. Wearing this hat allowed me the view I wanted of the castles without having to hold an umbrella and kept my head perfectly dry. I kept it in my backpack to use both for sun and rain. A great hat to have when traveling, plus the extra flap in the back kept the rain off my neck as well. I will use it this summer for gardening and sun protection. A great hat!

    Wore this constantly for a week in the Caribbean. The mesh sides make it super light weight and airy, the brim is huge (a good thing) and stable yet soft enough to pack in a bag. Wore it on windy days and it didn’t budge. Folds nice and flat for easy packing. Overall this is a perfect sun hat and I will be happy to use it for many summers and vacations.
