    Overall: A fantastic heavy-duty moisturizer for extremely dry skin, especially on the body.Pros:Intense hydration: This ointment is far more effective than Vaseline at deeply moisturizing my very dry skin. It visibly reduces flakiness, especially on my legs, feet, and lips.Long-lasting: The thick petrolatum base provides a layer of protection that keeps my skin hydrated throughout the day.Better absorption when damp: Applying the ointment right after showering while my skin is still damp seems to improve absorption and effectiveness.Cons:Shine: The ointment does leave a visible shine, so it may not be ideal for use on the face.Thickness: The petrolatum base makes it thick and slightly greasy, so it might not be suitable for everyone’s preferences.Recommendation:If you have very dry, cracked skin on your body, especially your feet and lips, this is a great product to try. However, if you’re looking for a facial moisturizer or prefer a lighter, less greasy feel, you might want to consider a different CeraVe product.

    Finally an ointment that works!
    My mil has had extremely dry and flaky skin for years! We have tried every lotion, ointment, and cream on the market. This ointment works wonders!! I used to find dead dry skin flakes everywhere but thanks to this product that has stopped!

    CeraVe does work , Great product
    I needed a moisturizer with these ingredients. CeraVe had everything I needed in this product.I continue to use CeraVe for many reasons. It is a great moisturizer and I will continue to use it. It will stain your sheets if you wear it to bed because of the petrolatum content.

    It plumps skin very well but needs to be reapplied daily.
    One reviewer said it goes into the skin and you only need a dab. On me it sits on top but it does make the skin on my arms and legs look much better. Smoother, plumper and younger. I am not willing to put it on my face. The next day my skin has lost the moisture look and feel so it needs to be reapplied. A dab isn’t enough to cover my arms and legs so I have to use quite a bit. I have extremely dry skin. I’ve been using CerVe SA body lotion and it lasts longer but isn’t a plumping and smoothing. I probably need to use both.

    Where have you been all my life?
    I live in the Arizona desert, so this product is a lifesaver. I use it on my eyes as an eye cream, my hands, my elbows, and all over my body at night and wake up feeling soft and hydrated!

    Works Well on Calloused Feet
    As a teacher, I am on my feet all day! I went to get a pedicure, a few months back, and the woman at the salon use this on my feet after she did the pedicure. I liked it so much, but I pulled out my phone and went on Amazon right then and there to buy it. It’s also nice on your hands , and if you spend a lot of time in the sun, rub some on your chest for those wrinkles that you may get.

    Es una vaselina que no está tan pesada como la vaselina. Yo tengo la piel muy seca así que uso una pequeña cantidad al final de mi rutina de skin care para sellar. Ojo, en realidad se necesita muy poca y se va a tardar siglos en “absorberse”. El bote es grande así que se ve que va a durar mucho. Buen producto en general como sellador, y también para pies, codos y rodillas.
