Well built, easy to use, food turns out better than expected
I don’t know why we had been putting off getting an air fryer – probably one of the reasons was that there are so many out there that it is hard to choose. In the end I was happy I got this one. The size is perfect for a severing for two, and it cooks food so unexpectedly fast, that doing two rounds is not a pain. One of the things I like best, is how little time it takes to get pre-heated. The instructions on the screen help you along and makes it easy for a first time user to understand the process (not that using an air fryer is rocket science). But experimenting with times and temps for various foods is not that hard, so that you get just the right results.The size and aesthetics are spot on. It really matches our other GE stainless steel appliances and looks like is part of the Kitchen. Cleaning the trays is a breeze compared to a traditional oven. Can’t commend about long term longevity but item looks sturdy enough. We have already gotten our money’s worth out of it. Very happy with the purchase.

Easy to use, but be prepared for a tough time removing the stick-on label!
This was my first time using an air fryer, and this one is easy to use, and overall a great machine. It was easy to clean the basket after use. I was worried that the machine would become very hot when used, because I have a section of my countertop that is enclosed in cabinetry for keeping small appliances, and was concerned that I would have to move it outside the cabinet to use, but the outside of the unit did not seem to become very hot, nor did I notice any other issue that would be of concern if using the appliance near cabinetry. (This was after one use, cooking an item for 17 minutes at 330 degrees, so at higher temperatures for longer times, the amount of heat generated may be different.) My only complaint about the item was the warning sticker placed on the stainless steel front of the unit used that awful glue that is hard to remove, where instead of the label peeling off easily and taking the glue along with it, the paper label tears, leaving a layer of paper and the glue stuck to the stainless steel surface when you try to remove the sticker. After attempting to soak the residue off by letting the basket stand in a sink full of water, it took about half an hour, much elbow grease, several thoughts about just sending the thing back, about half a bottle of my daughter’s Acetone-based nail polish remover, half a roll of paper towels and some Dawn grease-cutting dish detergent to finally get the label and all related glue residue off completely. (This label-glue issue is a pet-peeve of mine, and those of you who share it know what I mean when I say that it sort-of detracted from the experience of getting a new kitchen toy, and I will say that the glue on this label was some of the worst I have ever encountered–and I am 66 years old, so I have had a lot of experience with this issue back in the days before they made improvements in the glue used on price tags and stickers–an advance of which the maker of this appliance has not availed themselves.) The manufacturer could solve this by spending a bit more on a more easily removable label–or by placing it somewhere other than on the stainless face of the appliance. But, I will say that persistence prevails, and it is possible to eventually remove the label and the glue–if one has the necessary solvents on hand, and lots of time and paper towels. Absent those tools, you might have to wait to procure them before using the unit for the first time, if you want the glue off before the first use. During the half-hour removal process, I began to wonder if heat might help remove the glue, but decided that might only make matters worse, so made sure all the residue was removed before using. Given the tenacity of the glue, if heat is one’s chosen method to dislodge it, I wonder if heat from the unit itself would suffice, or if a blowtorch would be needed (that is a joke), but just sayin’ it was not easy to get the glue removed. Aside from that, the machine is great.

OMG I love this Air Fryer
Guys, this is just the best little air fryer. I mostly cook for myself, so small was fine, especially with limited counter space and counter height. I can usually get two steaks or chops side by side, so big enough for two. I recently started the carnivore diet and I have to admit the worst part about it is all the grease everywhere. My poor 60 YO stove was a constant mess of grease splatter and having to tear it apart after every meal was a pain. I was going through buckets of Dawn detergent even though I did buy a splatter cover, which worked great. But not great enough. There is still the greasy pans to deal with.So I have not tried baking or dehydrating, but will in the future. Right now broil is my thing. Now here is what I would say is an absolute must, the paper liners. They are not expensive, can be use twice or even more depending on what you make and leave the bottom clean as a whistle. You can let the grease harden and just lift it out without making a mess. Oh yeah baby, this is living. BTW, carnivore is going great. Showing signs of improvement in my long list of mystery symptoms. Face is now soft and smooth and hair stopped falling out and curl is returning, just for starters. And I’m 73, so it can be done. If you are even thinking about meat…..this is your go to Air Fryer.

Primero debo decir que me asusté cuando leí lo del olor a plástico, pero, el instructivo del equipo es claro: haga una prueba en vacío tanto iemoo y a tantos grados, ese ciclo sí olió a plástico, posterior a eso, el olor no volvió.He hecho un poco de todo: mojarra frita, pescado, papas a la francesa evidentemente jaja! Con excelente sabor y bien doradito ( solo hay que ir aprendiendo a manejar tiempos de cocción y temperatura)Por otra parte, la base es fácil de lavar, el instructivo dice cómo hacerlo, así evitarás que se quede grasits pegada, aunque debo admitir que la base de pronto me da cosa que se ralle con la rejilla, pero trae protectores.El equipo emite varios bips para avisarte si ya terminó o para que voltees la comida.En cuanto al consumo eléctrico, no me aumentó ni $10 el pago de luz y eso que la uso de dos a tres veces x semana.

I like it when it does do bacon fairly quickly.But food definitely has very little oil but not much taste either.
