    Amazing! A must for anybody struggling with any sexual addiction or knows a person who is
    Where do i begin?I discovered this writer while watching the Conquer Series. His book really brings to home a lot of practical help for those who want to kill sexual addiction in the church and their lives.I read quotes from it to my wife and she totally agrees. I think part of the book must have had his wife’s input.The most amazing thing about this book is that he doesn’t just aim to get men to stop masturbating and looking at porn but to also to stop lusting, as he said in the Conquer Series, “When you think of sex you think ‘Where’s my wife?'” That is his aim and i think he does a great job on helping men, who are looking for help, to get.Also, this book is great for singles as well. He tries to not just help the married guys but the single ones which is refreshing.A warning about this book: it will not get you free from sexual addiction. I think he would agree that you need to get in a Freedom, or another kind of group, to get free. Reading and applying the principales will help but can only take you so far. There is so much more work people need to do to be clean.

    revealing and very helpful
    It spoke to me in ways that other books on sexual purity have not. Weiss also improved his style in this book compared to his previous books. He deals with sexual addiction from all extremes. A person who may just need some help getting through small issues can benefit the same as a person who has a serious issue.The book would also aid people leading Christian men’s ministries of all denominations. It is definitely written from the heart of a man who desires Christ’s church to be absolutely pure. Because of this, he speaks very bluntly and associates all habitual sexual behaviors as sin. He also classifies these behaviors as addictions. This may seem extreme to some readers, but in reality, he is calling a spade “a spade”.If you are not a committed follower of Christ, you would need to read this book with the intent of being drawn to commit. If you are, it will likely implore you to see if your faith is lacking in this area and encourage you to make it absolutely clean, or to lead your brothers in becoming clean as well.

    I give a high recommendation for this book to anyone struggling in the area of sexual purity, or anyone that is counseling such. Dr. Weiss, through his own personal experience and through dealing with many, many others in this struggle, gives a clear, helpful, conclusive plan to getting and remaining Clean. This plan includes steps, declarations, and goals put in place by the individual, coupled with a reliance on Christ and God’s plan for a man of integrity. Well worth the investment – this book can change your life!

    As the book explains, sexual immorality is a pervasive problem and overcoming this formidable enemy requires the purposeful commitment to a “sexual war.” Clean will guide Christian males on the frontlines of this war in order to reclaim lost territory (offense). In reality, the book also does a great job of describing the dynamics of war and the variables that got you into this mess in the first place so that you can stay clear from potential traps (defense).The book begins with statistics and data to reveal that sexual immorality is a huge problem that is multidimensional. The problem is not only destructive of the self but those around you as well. Clean takes a while to get into the actual “plan” of how to achieve sexual integrity; accordingly, this discussion doesn’t begin until page 58 and descriptions of precise principles to be used begin on page 119. However, once Weiss gets started, his advice is powerful, impactful and based on timeless biblical principles. In fact, what this book does best is ground its advice in expositional Bible teaching. Weiss even devotes one chapter (“Holy Hologram”) almost exclusively to an elucidation of select verses to illustrate how the Bible guides men on how to deal with their lust. Possibly, the chapter called “James and John” may enlighten many on the power of confession and how that relates to healing.This is the fourth book I have read by Dr. Weiss. He is very open and honest about the fact that he was once a sex addict, so the advice that the reader gets is from an author who is not only a trained professional who has helped and counseled others, but who has also struggled with the real issues himself. Hence, Weiss delivers very practical advice from the perspective of someone who has been “on the frontlines” and is a veteran of the battlefield. Certainly what you will get is guidance that is both faith-based and of tremendous practical good without being neither too “churchy” nor too “worldly.”Finally, the greatest benefit from Clean is its wide range of applicability. If you are a man that struggles with lust, the spouse of man that seeks to live with integrity, or a non-professional friend, accountability partner or church leader, this book will equip you with some basic tools to chart a path toward healing.

    By far, the most effective tool I have read in the battle of sexual impurity. God brought me this resource without doubt and since, I have experienced healing and freedom and continue to pray that others will utilize this liberating resource as God has used Dr. Weiss to give direction to many men who need rescue from this enemy. A MUST read if ever there was a must read, aside from God’s Word, for not only anyone in this bondage but I believe for all christian men that need to step up against the rise of this monstrous enemy in our church, in our families, in our own lives, and in our culture!
