Pretty Speaker with Good Sound Quality
I was honestly surprised by how nice this speaker is for the price! It looks pretty and fits my setup well, and the controls are easy to use. I don’t think the sound quality would impress any audiophiles, but for gaming and watching videos while I do laundry or other chores in my room, it more than does the job.The rgb control is a little confusing; in order to set it to a specific static color you need to hit the rgb button when it’s in cycle mode and currently displaying the color you want. It doesn’t register with openRGB and there doesn’t seem to be any rgb software included, but I pretty much just want to keep it a nice aqua color so that’s not a huge deal for me.Overall I think it’s a really nice product! I love how it looks, it’s much more tasteful than a lot of gaming speakers on the market. The rgb is good quality and the individual leds don’t show through the plastic tubing, so it has a nice soft look.

Makes my laptop volume very high to use now.
 This computer speaker is very handy and useful, it makes the volume on my laptop way much better and louder. It is actually not too heavy and I like that there are two options USB and auxiliary cord. It has a very nice color switch to it. It is easy to connect and use, just plug USB to laptop and turn on the Bluetooth on both devices. It is definitely worth the price. The size is not too big or small just right.

Decent speaker with flaws
 DESIGN: The design of this speaker is nice, but it’s probably much larger than it would need to be. I suppose that helps with the bass response somewhat.SOUND QUALITY: Barring the other issues mentioned below, this speaker preforms as expected for the price point. Volume is decently loud without overdriving the speakers and bass response is better than expected. The midrange is somewhat muddy and the highs are a bit harsh, though.ISSUES: Both of these issues led to me nearly returning the speaker, but I found a solution for both. These may not be worth the effort for most people, however.1. Other reviewers have mentioned a “staticky” sound they noticed. I noticed this too. It occurred across the entire range of the speaker and at all volumes. This sound is caused by the design of the speakers themselves. The tinsel lead wire is too long and thus is vibrating against the spider and diaphragm of the speaker (see video). I pulled the slack out and resoldered the wires, alleviating the issue somewhat.2. Another complaint I noticed is that system sounds are low or muted. This is because the speaker has a noise gate programmed in, meaning they basically turn off when there is no output to avoid low background interference/buzzing. This is a cheap workaround to proper shielding and grounding that you would see in a higher-end speaker. This seems to be pronounced in AUX mode more so than Bluetooth mode. I programmed a Python script to play a low level, low frequency (5Hz) sound to in the background and on startup. This has completely fixed the issue. I’ve included a screenshot of my Python script for those inclined to try this. To run on startup, you’ll need to create a batch file to add to your startup programs folder in Windows. You’ll want to run this in pythonw.exe to avoid the command line popping up.

Sounds good, works well, looks great!
Really easy to set up. Just plugs and plays right out of the box. I didn’t need to do anything more than that. The RGB is really easy to set up too. You just press the button and it’ll go through a few different light patterns. To set it to a specific color, you need to wait until the speaker shifts to the color you want on one of the light patterns, then hit the RGB button again to set it like that on the last light pattern.It looks great on my desk and it definitely adds to the vibe I’m going for~

I’ve been looking for an audio output solution for my home computer setup, and this Soulion R50 speaker provides what I was looking for. It’s not high-end by any means, but the sound is clear, the volume is easy to adjust, and the led lights add some colour to my overall setup.The product comes with the soundbar and instructions. The soundbar requires a wired (USB-A) connection for power, but the audio hookup can either be through the wired (standard AUX) cable or via Bluetooth. I have this hooked up to my computer through the AUX cable.The controls take a bit of getting used to as there is one button to control the “Mode”, another to control the lighting, and the volume knob. The Mode button, which you can either long-press or short-press depending on what you want to do, controls the power as well as switches the input (AUX or Bluetooth) setting. The RGB light button works somewhat similarly, though it’s a bit more cumbersome as you have to short-press it to cycle through four different lighting patterns (breathing, rhythm, flowing, steady-state) as well as turn off the lights. You have to cycle through the full set of settings each time if you want to change the colour of the steady-state light, though thankfully it does remember your last setting when you power the soundbar on or off. Long-pressing the lighting button, somewhat unintuitively, resets the Bluetooth connection (which is all explained in the manual).Sound quality is fair considering the price. I wasn’t expecting much and was surprised with both the clarity and the volume capabilities. This isn’t going to blow you out of the water, and it’s not for an audiophile, but if you want to have background music playing or listen to videos or movies on your computer, it’ll do the job just fine.Overall, a nice looking, functional soundbar that does what it’s designed to do. Factoring in the price, I’d definitely recommend putting this into the mix if you’re looking for a basic or starter sound output option for your computer.

This product arrived the next day via Amazon Prime and was packaged in a simple retail cardboard box.PROS-Simple plug and play design; you simply plug in the 3.5 audio jack and the USB power cable and you are good to go.-Versatile; if you like to use your audio jack for headphones, you can also connect via Bluetooth. I was able to detect the soundbar using both my Legion desktop as well as my Lenovo Thinkpad.-I typically find LED lights on appliances make them look cheap and gaudy, but I quite like the lighting feature on this product which accentuates the sleek design.-Easy, accessible controls.CONS-The sound quality is limited; whlle it may be okay for simple tasks and audio, I personally find this inadequate for music, especially on higher volumes, nor does it do much justice to films with epic soundtracks.-You cannot connect sound simply via the USB port.-I personally like to minimize wires but this product adds two. You could technically play this via Bluetooth but I encountered significantly more audio latency that became particularly apparent when gaming.-I plugged this into an Xbox Series X simply to test it and while it did indeed work, there was consistent static sounds.-If I am being really picky, the logo looks rather cheap and flimsy to me.Overall, this might be okay if you are simply looking for a desktop speaker, however I struggle to see any situation in which you would not simply want to use the monitor or TV speakers. It is tough to find good PC audio quality at this price point, however several viable options with decent sound become available for just 20 to 40 CAD more. If you are willing to spend the money, I recommend spending a bit more for a considerably better audio experience.
