    Good volume
    I purchased this a way to listen to the music on my phone as my truck radio died. And I can’t hear my phones speaker while using the tractor. The volume that the speaker puts out allows for good sound while driving with the windows down, the battery life is great so far. It connected with my razor with out any effort. And its ability to clip on to almost anything makes it ver versatile. I haven’t had a speaker this small that performed so well.

    It’s tiny but the sound d quality and volume is huge! I love the clip-on design and how durable it feels.Super easy to use and the play/pause and volume controls work both ways.

    Perfect for walking golf
    I used to use the JBL Clip 4 (Red) while I was playing golf (walking) alone to listen to youtube or podcasts. After a year, its color tarnished and its rubber decoration fell off. While I was looking for a new portable speaker, I found this. It is much smaller and lighter but has enough volume for walking playing golf. I used to hang the JBL Clip 4 on my golf bag, but I can put this little Dewalt on my belt. When I’m playing golf, I stand my golf bag and move around sometimes, so I like the Dewalt better because I can carry it with me while the JBL Clip is on my bag so I can’ hear the audio when I’m not right next to it with a high enough volume in open space outdoors without disturbing other people. I think Dewalt should market their speakers for walking golfers!

    Very loud indeed, but not updated version.
    They do seem to be very loud indeed for such a tiny little product, but even though the page said they would be the updated version and supposedly the updated version has magnets on the back, these ones didn’t have magnets. Apparently these are not the updated version, however they are indeed very loud for such a tiny product. My only fear is that with them being so loud for such a tiny product that they may not last very long. However only time will tell that story. I ordered two of them because they say they only last up to 10 hours and I work a 12-hour plus shift, so we’ll just see how they work over time. Seem excellent to start so far.

    Be aware, there are two versions.
    Why does everyone make good better best. Just make one. I had the magnetic version but one of my electricians liked it so I gave it to him and ordered another. Unfortunately that one did not have the magnetic capabilities of sticking to metal equipment. And in true fashion someone stole the one I gave him. The device has excellent sound and I use it for calls, teams meetings and listening to iHeart radio from my phone.

    Lacking some major features
    I was disappointed with this speaker and I am sure if I’m keeping it.Let’s start with the pros. Small, light weight, easy to pair the first time, and easy to use. Long battery life, after an hour of use the battery is still at 100%.Here are the cons. No magnet clasp, it can only be clipped into something. That makes it really hard to use with something like a tshirt. The clip is awkward to use, it works well but how you have to hold the speaker to open the clip doesn’t feel right. The stand (free standing footer) is a joke, if you are careful you can balance it on the bottom. The sound is just okay, it’s not any louder or clearer than what I get from my iPhone 14 Pro Max. To the best of my knowledge, it can’t be paired to two devices at once. Pairing it from my phone to my Apple Watch and back was a huge hassle, but that could be user error.Conclusion, there are probably better options out there.

    Best buy
    I love it for work in the plant. It clips on my shoulder right by my ear where i can have the music loud or low where i can only hear it. I also can talk on the phone and the other people can hear me clear. The battery last the whole 9 hours I’m at work. The Bluetooth connected to my phone with ease. The size is small but packs a punch. The performance is top notch. Can’t speak of the waterproof because i haven’t tried it in the shower yet.
