Fantastic Bluetooth speaker!
**Update, after 15 months of mainly-daily use: it’s still working well overall, good sound, buttons still working, etc. I still use it clipped to my collar or in a similar spot, the clip still works, and even though I have definitely dropped it several times, I haven’t managed to break it yet, fortunately. I think the battery life is starting to shorten a bit, but it’s still not bad for an inexpensive speaker like this. It would be helpful if there were, say, 3 lights to help alert you to when the battery is getting low. I try to keep track of when I last charged it and be proactive, but I don’t always manage it, and then it runs out of juice in the middle of a walk, which is annoying. Since even the smallest battery packs would be annoying to bring with me in some cases, I’m going to get a second one of these speakers, and just plan to use them twice and then switch for the fully charged speaker. Hopefully I can manage to stay ahead of the speaker losing charge in the middle of a walk. But overall, I have continued to be very, very happy with this little speaker. I walk for both fitness and sanity, and this has been one of the things that helps make keeping up with my walks easier and more pleasant.I started walking regularly a few months into the pandemic. Almost a year ago (fall 2020), I got this little Bluetooth speaker. I have wired/Bluetooth headphones from this brand and they worked decently well, so I hoped this one would as well. I have been surprised at how happy I have been with this little speaker! The sound quality is pretty good (I mainly listen to podcasts on it), it usually connects with no problem to my phone, and the battery life is pretty decent (maybe 4-5 hours of playing time on a full charge to it turning off due to low battery). I’ve used it at least 3 times a week (often 6-7 times per week) since I got it, including in the rain (although I try to shield it from the wet as much as I can), and it still works great. I clip it to my collar, and put my phone in my waist bag or jacket pocket. The only connectivity issue is sometimes if my phone is rubbing against the jacket or something, that can sometimes make the connection slightly choppy, but if I adjust it it’s usually fine after that. Especially for the price, you really can’t beat this little speaker – it really has been a huge help for me.

As a pillow speaker…
Ok, so I bought this to try out as a pillow speaker for the following reasons 1) relative small “flat’ size 2) Amplified /Bluetooth 3) clips onto a pillow case quite well and holds its position. I have the device clipped onto the top of my lower pillow with a second pillow placed on top of it. The size works and I cant feel it very much (if at all). Volume can be controlled so my wife does not hear it but I can without difficulty. Battery life has gone through three 8 hour nights so far. Good enough but hoping it may hold up even longer. But there is some bad news.When turning the device on or off or when Bluetooth is enabled or disabled, it produces tones alerts at what must be it’s maximum capable volume (no help using the devices volume buttons). So this is a problem for the spouse. The only thing I can do is try to baffle the sound by reaching in-between the pillows when altering the connection. It would be very desirable if the manufacture could allow the user to permanently disable these alert sounds. They could then advertise this a much needed, high end pillow speaker and offer it in white as an added option. Simple no cost firmware change and they get a new market. Hope they see this review and respond.Not so fast.. The battery died on night 4 and gave off a audio alert tone continuously at a high volume. Wife was not happy and so now the only option is to charge it almost every day or not use it as I intended. Sill okay for its intended buyer.
