    Plenty of bells and whistles considering the price
    I ordered this specifically as a ‘beater speaker’. My daughter uses it at the rink to listen to her music since headphones are prohibited. It’s small enough to fit in her hand with the loop around her finger, or slip in her top pocket. Even with it in her pocket, it’s plenty loud enough to be heard. We haven’t dropped it yet, but at $9, if something happens to it, it’s not too big a deal. The great part about this speaker is we can use it at the park, at the beach, pretty much anywhere we want to listen to music. My girls love to hang it from the ceiling and hold impromptu dance parties in their room XD The bright lights add a little extra punch. Sure it doesn’t have the sound quality of a higher quality speaker, and some of the button controls are a little annoying, but for $10, it’s a great little device.

    Surprisingly Loud, Just a few annoyances with the Design
    At the time of review this item retails for the bargain of $9.99 USD.This is an IPX5, or as the standards dictate “Protected from low pressure stream of water from any angle”.Pros- Its really small but deliver an incredible punchy sound. The bass is good and the tones are nice and clear, for the price It was a nice surprise.- The body is made of textured net fabric that lies in between a fabric and rubber, I really like it, but because of the little holes everywhere if you take it into a muddy or dusty area, you will have a heck of a time cleaning thing.- Body is sturdy and it does feel durable. It states to be IPX5, which is resistant to a water stream, but I did not feel confident enough to try this as I can see the speaker grill holes and I did not want to ruin it, but I would feel okay if it had a few rain drops on it.- Comes with 4 buttons on the top, On/Off (Which can also be used to toggle the LED mode or Switch to Radio mode), Skip (Which in radio mode is volume Up), Rewind (Which in radio mode is volume down) and lastly, Play/Pause (Which in radio mode is the “scan” feature).- Tested around the house and sustained a real good connection without getting all garbled or losing connectivity. Up to two rooms and it seemed to have no problem penetrating walls.- I have used for about 4 days now, over 1 hour per day and I still have battery life. At least as a brand new device the battery life is great, my problem tends to be after a month or two where the battery life severely degrades. Let’s hope this is not the case here.- Comes with an USB A (Square head) to USB C Charger – but NO CHARGING BLOCK. I have a few around, so this wasn’t a big deal.Cons- Branding on the side is huge and really distractive. They made such an elegant device, they could have placed it on the bottom, or somewhere that isn’t so alarmingly and annoyingly displayed. The Logo is right about the speaker grill, so you have to “show” it no matter what- There is no way to control volume when paired via bluetooth. This is one of my biggest annoyances. Adding two more buttons wouldn’t have made an incredible difference in the design, and the space is in there as well so I can’t understand why not do it. You can only control the volume from whatever bluetooth device this is connected to.- The LEDs… They are a nice party trick if you are out with friends and you can either use the “built-in” mode which changes based on tone/bass to different colors, or you can use a solid color. But if you are alone at home, and all you want to do is listen to podcast while working on your car, or whatever project you are doing – they are very, very annoying. You CAN turn them off, but every device it pairs too it defaults back to rainbow disco fever.In short, it’s an incredibly loud bluetooth box with some quirky design. Despite the little annoyances I think it is well worth it as it delivers a great value.

    Better performance than expected
    This review is for the Bnegynng Bluetooth Speaker, Portable Wireless Bluetooth Speakers with Loud Stereo Sound, Deep Bass, IPX5 Waterproof Speaker, Bluetooth 5.3, RGB Colorful Lights, TWS Pairing for Party, Home, Outdoors, Travel.I got the Bnegynng in order to softly listen to music late at night at the dinner table. The Bnegynng serves the purpose well. The Bnegynng is small, and to my eye it is attractive. Thankfully the lights are easily turned off.Five stars.

    Distorts at higher volumes
    I thought this bluetooth speaker would be great for when I’m outside gardening and working in my yard. That wasn’t the case with this bluetooth speaker. I tried adjusting the volume and wasn’t pushing it on the loudness scale whatsoever. The volume started to distort any time I tried to turn it up. I can understand a small speaker distorting when the volume is high. It’s to be expected but this bluetooth speaker was distorting at low volume. I like the concept and the appearance of the speaker but what’s the point of using it when you can’t utilize the sound at even a normal level. This bluetooth speaker may be fine for audio books and podcasts but not where music is concerned.

    works fine as a small portable speaker
    The speaker works fine. I found the sound distorted when turned all the way up and playing some of my music.It’s a small speaker and easily portable. Battery life is some. I hate the lighting, but I turn it off and it’s fine.I find myself using this when I’m waiting somewhere and don’t want to wear my headphones. Throws easily into my backpack, turns on quickly, and keeps me entertained when I want music in the background.I’m not a fan of the buttons, so I usually control it through my phone, but that could just be me.Overall it’s fine and does the job.

    Nice for the price
    Nice little speaker for the price. I compared it to a JBL Clip (5x the price). The dynamic range is not quite there nor is the volume. For a desk/kitchen speaker is adequate.One complaint – 4 buttons, 10 functions… long press, double press… see pic.Did not try two/TWS, but for the price two of these could be good in a workshop, home office etc.

    Really good for the price!
    The sound quality is nowhere near that if my JBL Flip, but this is one that I feel like I can be a little more reckless with and take to the beach, etc. My phone had no trouble identifying it and it’s fairly small and could be easily clipped to a backpack with a hook. All around, I’d probably order it again if I needed another.
