Mostly okay
Product mostly works well, provides good sound, and is at least water resistant if not water proofed. Had to knock a star off because it sometimes has difficulty pairing or will randomly lose connection despite neither itself or the device it is connected to having moved. Otherwise, great battery life and value for the money.

Sounds GREAT amazing for the price point..
This thing sounds really good for the price and as good as my higher priced BT speakers i have bought.Turn lights off by push of power button for a sec. or so, then go through all the colors one at a time with quick push of power button til lights goo to OFF setting, Battery will last longer this way. turn back on with temp push of power button.

Good Product at an inexpensive price
It serves my need for a Bluetooth speaker as I listen to podcasts. It connects throughout my apartment with very little problem.

Sound not quite up to par
I was happy to get this. My 7 year old bluetooth speaker died last week. Poor thing.I read the reviews and this seemed to pack a lot of punch for the size. Not so much.It was easy to connect. Instructions basic but clear. But the sound was just not what I expected. I didn’t expect Bose sound but I didn’t expect $5 speaker sound either. I’m disappointed because all in all it was a good size and the neon light was pretty cool. Also you could change and pick a light color. Just wish the sound was not so cheap.

This portable speaker is quite impressive in sound quality and strength for its size. If you are looking to use this with Bluetooth or wires only then it is quite good and straightforward. The sound quality is very good, even more so while wired given Bluetooth always has some compression but still the sound is full and no distortion even at max level. An at max it can give quite a loud impression and while holding in your hand you will feel the speakers working on those low frequency.As for functionality there is a small blue light on top indicating paring/play mode and the pairing is as expected with finding the speaker on your device while in pairing mode. After that it is memorize, it will connect to it when open. There is also a red light on the other side indicating charging and off while charging. Speaking of which you can charge while in use which is great if you happen to be close to a line and want to keep it full for when you go mobile. The front light is fun addon and can be changed from the color rotating more to various fix color or off. However, it does not remember the setting between powering which can be annoying if you prefer it off to save battery. In fact, same thing for volume it will always return somewhere halfway instead of how you left it. The other function is expected with volume control, skipping song, play/pause, and mode. Volume can be controlled by your device also.Now if you do not intent to use MicroSD for music you can go with the above and ignore the below but because it has this functionality, I have to say they should just not have offered it as this. Importantly, the slot for then MicroSD was not properly lined up with the actual connector and therefore, as seen in one of the pictures, we have an MicroSD get between the slot and the speaker frame almost losing it inside. We had to use needle and tweezer to get it back. But once inside, in the right sport, it is limited to FAT32 format with 32Gb only. It did not read anything larger which is disappointing considering how common now much larger size are. Not that you may need that much music but still. Then although it does remember where it was between power cycle, it only plays them in sequence with no random option. So, if you like me sometime share MicroSD card between device and order your song neatly then it will always play in the alphabetical order. One way around this is of course to setup a dedicated card and randomize the names before using it, but even that will produce the same sequence once it finishes them. It only plays MP3, so forget FLAC is a bit of a shame considering how good this device can sound.Being able to remember which song was last played on MicroSD is nice but beg the question why is there no memory for the volume and light mode? Perhaps that is because without the MicroSD the device has no memory and probably use a trick on the card itself to know where it was. Best option, is probably to carry a DAP and wire it, but really the MicroSD function should be there to avoid having to carry more stuff.In the end, if the MicroSD is not something you are after, I rate this 5 for the other functions as they work and the main function of portable speaker is sound and it does it very well.

This speaker replaces two different bluetooth speakers I’ve purchased in the past.I use it for Zoom calls, YouTube videos and watching Facebook Lives because the sound is much louder and clearer than my laptop speakers.My favourite way to use this speaker is to start a podcast on YouTube and bring my speaker into the kitchen while I cook.The range of this speaker is much better than my previous bluetooth speaker too.I can bring it almost anywhere in the house and even out the back door without losing the connection.The bluetooth speaker connects quickly and easily at the push of a button.You can pause a video by pressing the “play” button and change the volume too.The battery lasts a long time. I use this speaker daily, often for hours a day and I might charge it once a week.I do normally use it with the light off for longer battery life. But now that I see how long the battery lasts, I’m going to leave the light on because it’s really pretty. You can let it cycle through 7 colours when the speaker is on or you can keep pressing the power button to pick your favourite colour and leave it there.It’s definitely much louder than my laptop which has two 2W speakers and it’s louder and has better voice quality (great for Zoom meetings) than the 5W square bluetooth speaker and the drum shaped 5W bluetooh speaker it replaced.One caution. I plugged this into the microphone/headset jack on my laptop when I first received it and the volume was very low. But as soon as I unplugged it and used it with Bluetooth is reached full volume.It might have been a “me problem” but if you are using this wired instead of using it as a bluetooth speaker you might have that issue too.Since I never used it plugged into the microphone/headphone jack, it’s not an issue for me at all.I still consider this the best addition to my laptop’s sound system yet. Since you can pair the speakers, I will consider ordering a second one for true stereo sound.I’ve been using the speaker for almost a month and have had no issues with it at all when using it in bluetooth mode.
