Affordable and versatile!
I always like to have one of this very convenient power inverters in my truck and at home, as theyâre very versatile during emergencies. And this one came right out the box, super useful to charge my cell phones and flashlights when lost power for several hours during hurricane Beryl here in south Texas. This device worked flawlessly, and charged my cell phone using its USB C port, and several flashlights with the USB2 QC3 port. I also used to power the 120VAC air pump and other appliances. Definitely, this device should be a âmust to haveâ in any household. It comes in a perfect size and is plenty powerful for most of uses as charging laptops, videogames, cellphones, electronic devices, as cameras, cordless tools or videogames. The inverter seems well manufactured and quite sturdy with full metal case, excellent finished and have a cable cord with a fused connector for use in a type cigarette-lighter socket, which is very convenient a practical. Additional features included -aside of the 120VAC outlet provided-, is one USB-C and one USB-A charging ports that allows easy connection and fast charging. The device offers several âbuilt-inâ protections at outlets and ports for overload, short-circuit, overtemp and voltage regulation, adding extra layers of use safely with your devices.Overall, this is a quality, versatile and very affordable device. Highly recommended.(Reviewed by Handyman)

Good device for the price
I tested it with my laptop, an air mattress inflator, and a small 5 HP shop vac.It worked great for the laptop and mattress inflator. The heat dissipation and fan noise is what I expected. I wouldn’t want to run it in an enclosed space – it could overheat – and tiny fans are noisy when trying to move lots of air. With the shop vac it tried to spin up the motor, but as I was hoping it would, it shut off. It then turned back on, tried again, and shut off again, in roughly 2s cycles until after about 30s it blew the fuse to my lighter socket. I did the math – an average shop vac draws 900w – 1300w, and my fuse is 20A, that’s 12v x 20a = 240w, so I was hoping it’d blow the fuse before the inverter itself went out. After replacing the fuse, the inverter was back in action. An improvement I’d like to see for this device is rather than cycling indefinitely, after 3-5 over-current cycles it should just shut itself off until the end user has flipped the power switch off and then on again. If it flips back and forth indefinitely, there’s potential it will damaging whatever device it’s powering.

Decently made – powered my laptop without issue
Ordered this 400W Power Inverter 12V DC to 110V AC, Car Charger Plug in Adapter Outlet with PD 65W to go into a battery box I built using mostly items I reviewed on Vine. This was the final component as another I had ordered was drawing a ton of power and burning fuses out like crazy. This one works at least, green light when it is on and the laptop charged up at the same time as my phone and it did not blow the 15 amp fuse I have in line with it. It appears to be an almost identical build to the other branded model that did not end up working for me.The product came in a brown box with instructions but no branding. So it is one of those generic brown box products rather than a name brand inverter. The construction is not great, while it does have a metal exterior and feels solid it does not weigh nearly as much as a brand name inverter that is advertised at 300W continuous but has no USB charging capabilities. The fan never came on put it was supplying power. The USB charging features are nice and only available on newer inverter models. Worth an upgrade.

Small size and a must for using electronics in your vehicle.
I don’t know how I lived without this power inverter. I didn’t know I could get something like this for such a low price. It is so small that you can store it in the glove box. It has 400 watts which is powerful enough to run my laptop and a small fan at the same time. I use this in my Dodge Caravan in the 12 volt (cigarette outlet). It has made our car camping so much better. The two standard outlets will run all of our small electronics to no fail. I am reluctant to run anything too power demanding which would likely blow a fuse. But for now, everything I have plugged in (small electronics), runs well with this inverter, just like a regular outlet through my 12 volt battery in my van. Great price!

Works great – does exactly what it’s supposed to do
I’m really pleased with this power inverter. I ordered it to use on a recent cross-county road trip, and it did not disappoint. It’s small and compact, so it doesn’t take up too much room. It offers two traditional electrical plugs, plus one USB C, and one USB A, port. This allowed me to charge my laptop, my cell phone, and all my devices while in the vehicle. The unit I received stayed cool, and the internal fan is very quiet. It just simply works well, and is a reasonable price – I’d buy it again.Recommended.

Works great so far
I got this for roadtrips and was so excited to try it out right away. So, I tested it first with my Ryobi battery charger. The charger puts out 60W, and the battery is 56W. It worked perfectly. The charger fits the car plug securely, and it turned on immediately. My Ryobi plugged into it just fine and starting charging immediately. After about a minute or two, the power inverter did get slightly warm, so I’m not sure how it will do over a longer period of time. It looks and feels very well built though. The casing feels heavy and thick.

overheating
I tested it on my car with a 200w mini fridge and a laptop, it’s works well but it’s heating again and again as time goes on! so I stopped the testing. maybe I can not make the fridge and laptop working together or I should use it in cooler days.
