Small Chunk of wood missing
This is the first negative feedback I’ve ever provided out of hundreds of Amazon purchases but this time I felt it was necessary. I was so excited to receive these items and I couldn’t wait to open the package but when I did, I saw two issues 1.) The H O M E lettered wood pieces had a purple white-wash rather than gray or black. I wanted these items for a black and white color scheme and I’m adding yellow or red accents. Purple doesn’t fit into my color scheme at all! I was so disappointed. 2.) The letters were glued on sloppily so there is a thin layer of glue smeared on each letter – some letters have more smeared glue than others. Later I noticed a small chunk of wood cut out on the upper left-hand side of the letter H. Of the three issues, the one I’m most disappointed in is the purple white-wash. I zoomed in on the product description’s picture and could see the purple tint on the white-wash but none of the customer reviews mentioned an issue with the purple. Maybe it’s just me that has an issue with it.
