    Finally – I have a great air fryer that is a breeze to clean!
    I use an air fryer multiple times a day. The first two I owned claimed to be easy to clean, but were NOT – even in dishwasher! I love this one and the plate in the bottom. A brief soaking and it is like new.The only issue I had was the smell when first using – but I had read the reviews and knew to run let it burn off all the gasses outside the house. I have a screened porch, so that worked great. I ran it for a total of two hours until the smell was gone.After that, smell was not an issue. If anything happens to it in a few years, I will try to find the same. The color is delightful as well!

    Digital setting allows for exact cooking temp and time, no guesswork! Lots of presets for common items to cook in an air fryer. Add the paper liners and cleanup is minimal!

    The initial smell almost had me give up
    Followed the directions and ran it without any food in it and the smell was awful. Tried it about 5-7 times after and the smell was still SO strong. It def gave the food a weird flavor. Just a strong chemically/plastic burning odor & taste. I went ahead and started the return process through Amazon and while researching other brands of air fryers I saw most had this same initial problem. After reading an article on Reddit that told me to run it on the highest setting for 2 hours.. I did just that. The timer maxes out at 30 mins so I just ran it several times back to back. It WORKED!!! I let it cool off and then used it a few hours later and had no plastic smell/taste. Still 5 days later and daily use the smell is gone. The unit itself is really cute and pretty user friendly. I like the size of the basket – it does take up some serious counter space but that’s why I chose this one, the green color matches my kitchen. It’s fun to use and SUPER easy to clean. I just hand wash the basket and wipe down the unit w some mrs Meyers all purpose cleaner on a microfiber towel.

    Excellent product
    Not much else to say. It works and it works well. Controls are very intuitive and many options for different things. There is a booklet suggesting heating and cooking time … I find it best to follow the ones that comes on the package you purchase. The booklet is a bit off.

    First impressions
    After purchasing and returning three different brands of air fryers, I was worried about this one. This one, fills the bill, I really like it!I just got it yesterday, so that is why I say first impressions. I washed it, and ran it through several test runs.Today, I made frozen fish fillets. They were the best! Crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside.As others have stated, it is taking me a bit of time to figure out the controls and the presets seem pretty much right on. I love the look of it on the kitchen counter, the Red is shinny and it looks great with the chrome accents. I used the parchment inserts, and there was almost no oil or grease on it after making the fish. I used a fresh one for the fries, lightly misting with a Misto oil sprayer. The fries were so good that I made another batch later and virtually no oil or grease on the paper and after making three different items, I can’t find a drop of anything in the pan itself or on the walls of it. No mess cleanup as the liners are just thrown away.The only thing that I do not like is the notification beep for shake and when the food is done. All three of the units that I returned had loud beeps. Even with no TV, musis, or anyone else in the house, it is very hard to hear. Basically, you must be in a perfectly quiet kitchen in order to hear it. On mine,the shake indicator seems to beep only once, so it is easy to miss it.I can tell when the food is done because the fan shuts off.This is not a deal breaker as I am setting the microwave timer to let me know when to shake!The fit and finish seem to be top notch, and the build quality is the pan/ drawer are all excellent. I will update this review after I use it more, but I really like it, and this one is a keeper!

    Loved it, until it shattered
    *** UPDATE: I caved and bought another of the same one, different color, after accidentally dropping the first one. I’m going to leave the review at 4 stars, one because this air fryer is beautiful, but the quality seems inconsistent. I love the powder blue color, it’s very consistent with what’s picture. The smell when i initially used this one wasn’t as bad as the first one (black). I expected a really strong burnt plastic air fryer smell, but was pleasantly surprised. Also this air fryer is significantly quieter than the first one. Not sure why or if the other was defective, but it’s really nice to be able to not yell while something is in the air fryer. It also hasn’t given off as much steam as the first one through the vents in the back. I liked the first one because of its functionality and I purchased another to replace the one I accidentally broke. With the new one I actually question if the first one I had was a lemon because this one has worked better. Not sure if this is helpful but if you purchase this air fryer and it’s super loud and wets your countertop in the back, it’s probably defective and you should exchange.I used this air fryer for a year and loved every moment of it. It was used multiple times per week, SO easy to clean and cooked well once you get the hang of all the buttons/settingd on the top. It worked consistently with no fluctuations or changes in performance, it was GREAT. It’s a great size and fits enough sides for 2-3 people. It heats up very quickly. One of my issue was the noise, it is slightly on the louder side. It also emits a lot of steam/heat from the back which might/might not damage what you have positioned in front of.My issue was that it dropped. It didn’t fall from a high distance, I was taking it out from the bottom cabinet and it fell about half a foot and shattered. The top is glass and it made a huge mess. I’m very sad because I did like the air fryer and have become comfortable with it in the past year. Now I’m debating whether to reorder or just use the air fry function on my oven.
