    Great Container!
    We cook a lot of Indian food so we use this quite a bit. It does a great job straining the oil and we leave the oil in the container for the next time we need it. The seperate strainer is also convenient and is the perfect size to collect the fried leftover remnants. The saucer/coaster that comes with is great because you can put the container in a cabinet and now have to worry about any oil slipping down and damaging the cabinet.

    Worked great, then corroded
    This worked fantastically for about a year, but then it developed a small pinhole on the bottom edge right under the handle and now it’s useless. However, we eat a lot of bacon and it was constantly full as we put bacon grease in and then took a little out daily for cooking. We rarely totally emptied it. I’m wondering if the cruddies sitting at the bottom just corroded it over time, or if there was a small flaw in the steel. It was just that one tiny spot that rusted out, but it made it unusable now. I would suggest you regularly clean this out and inspect the base for corrosion.

    I absolutely love this bacon grease container. It’s easy to clean up. It has a removeable strainer under the lid that collects all of the ‘crumbs’ from the grease as you pour it. The container sits on an anti-slip coaster tray that keeps it all in place. It is sturdy and holds a lot of grease! It’s so nice to have something to dependable to pour and store your grease into, and the stainless steel matches the appliances!
