    Genuinely makes my tap water taste better
    I don’t particularly like the taste of my tap water. I think drinking bottled water (which tastes good to me) made me pickier about water taste lol. I never knew if these filters were a scam or not lol, but with the amount of good reviews I wanted to give it a shot. Well, now that I’ve tried it, I love this thing lol!!Easy set up, no product damage or anything.But most importantly, it actually makes the tap water taste better. To test its effectiveness, both my husband and I did a blind taste test with water from this filter vs. our tap water. We both liked the water from the Brita much better. Just tastes really clean and pure. I’ve only been using it for a day, so I cannot speak on the longevity of it. But for now, I’m super pumped! I just keep the whole thing in the fridge after I put water in—fresh tasting cold water!! I think it’s much better for the environment too, rather than buying a ton of bottled water.***[Edit: it’s been a lil over 2 months since I got this. It’s been a true game changer. It works just like it did when I bought it. It’s so nice to have cold, clean-tasting water. Especially in the summer—where I live, rn it’s in the upper 90s F, and very humid. I am very satisfied which this purchase. Totally worth buying, in my opinion. Easy to use, and it works!

    Must have for college dorms, especially.
    This product works amazingly. I bought this pitcher for use in my college dorm during my freshman year, which was 6 years ago. The town my college was located in was relatively renowned for not having very good tap water at all. There were times the water was definitely not clear. This filter allowed me to stay hydrated without having to leave my room for a bottle filler several times a day. The size was great for lasting about a day for one person. When my roommate was home, it was likely I’d have to refill it, but that wasn’t a big deal to me. It filters relatively quickly; definitely not as slow as something like a Berkey water filter. The parts are very easy to clean, the white color never stained, and it definitely met my needs for what I purchased it for. As I’ve left the dorms and moved into apartments, I’ve kept the pitcher. The only moderate hassle is keeping up with the filters, which is more than likely my ADHD brain and not the fault of the filter. I’d sharpie the date I changed it onto the filter box and try to mark my calendar for 2 months down the line so I’d remember, incase anyone is as forgetful as me. Then when I’d put the last filter in, I’d add filters to my grocery list so I wouldn’t get stuck without good drinking water. There have assuredly been times where I’ve gone longer than 2 months, and while I wouldn’t recommend that for health, it never tasted weird or made me sick, except for the time I neared 4 months. Then, it definitely started having a taste. But that’s user error and not a product fault.

    There’s no “change filter” light
    I want to give 5 stars, but I hate false advertising. It clearly says that there’s a light that will show green or red to indicate when the filter needs to be changed. That is the main reason for me buying this particular model. But there’s no such light. So I just have to guesstimate when the filter needs changing. The water filter works nicely. Water tastes good. And it filters quickly.

    BEST investment.
    Decided to give this a try since our water system pump breaks every few months and our water is extremely hard/full of sulfur. I was hesitant to have to buy filters until I realized how much I’m spending on bottled water…A WEEK. This Brita filters water quickly and it is delicious! Fits perfectly in the fridge and helps cut down on our plastic waste.Update: 7/5/24 : Eh, these filters definitely don’t last two months. That’s disappointing. We’ve only had ours a few weeks and there’s already a weird taste again. Bummer.

    Better than I could have imagined
    What a difference. I did not like the water I was drinkg from my refrigerator. My frig ice machine brook, I had to shut off the water supple. So kmI wanted “filtered”water. I was pleasantly surprised when I tasted my first glass of water from the Brita filter . It is a different taste. the water tasts like the “well”water I use to drink when i was a kid !! Clean pure water. who would think…. I now enjoy a glass of plain WATER !!
