Really nice instrumentation package for driving.
This little device uses GPS to calculate all kinds of information you may want to know while driving. It sits on the dashboard just above the car’s speedometer. I have no complaints about the data that can be shown on the display and all my tests came out to be plenty accurate. The display is bright when needed. Just one picky point about HUD (Heads-up display). In some industries, HUD means that you can see the data reflected in you windshield as you look directly ahead. So the display would be aimed up from the dashboard to the windshield and all the characters would be rotated 180 deg so then appear normal in the reflection. I would like to see this mode implemented so you could look directly through the windshield and still see the speed, time, etc.The display only works if plugged into power. It doesn’t have a rechargeable battery for stand-alone use. I hope that in the future they will add a battery so this could be used on other types of transportation. This would be fun to have on an airplane trip or balloon ride or any one of many modes of transportation that don’t have electrical power. I suppose that a passenger could also carry around a portable 5 V battery pack but what fun is that?

nice speedometer
Nice little GPS speedometer. Sometimes it can be hard to see a car’s speedometer between the spokes of the steering wheel. This device is easier to see with it on the dash board. Of course if there is an obstruction of the antennae it will not display the speed. Also the speed it shows is not exactly like the car’s speedometer, however it is still a nice little device.
