    GREAT CLEANSER!!
    I’m very impressed and happy with this cleanser. It’s as good or better than high-end cleansers I’ve used, but at a fraction of the price!I have mature oily skin, but the skin around my eyes is dry. I wear foundation, plus water resistant sunscreen. This amazing cleanser gently and completely cleanses my skin while leaving it feeling soft and hydrated (it does not remove waterproof eye makeup, though). Absolutely no dryness or irritation.Although it’s called an oil cleanser, it is NOT AT ALL oily and leaves no trace of residue. It’s light, and contains no fragrance. I also use it as a hand and body wash! CeraVe hit a home run with this one! The CeraVe moisturizers are also superb (I use the lotion daily and the night cream before bed). Highly recommend!!

    If you are just starting with an oil product, this is perfect. Doesn’t dry my very dry skin out, no breakouts, and way better than the sensitive skin version. I’m sold! This with the cereve moisturizing cream have done wonders for me. You can’t beat the price!

    Good to remove sunscreen
    This product is definitely for very dry skin so it only took me one time to use it sparingly with my hands or a wash cloth. I have read that oil attracts oil so this cleanser is good to remove sunscreen. I don’t want large pores and I’ve read if you don’t get all your sunscreen off at the end of the day, then it could enlarge your pores. There’s also this technique called double cleansing that cleans your face from sunscreen and moisturizer and makeup etc. First you wash your face with an oil based product like this one. Then, after rinsing it off, you use a water based cleanser and rinse that off. So for this oil based product, use sparingly and mostly below your eyes and on your cheeks, where you put your sunscreen on. You could use a small amount on your forehead but you don’t want it to drip into your eyes. If it does, it doesn’t sting but makes your vision a little blurry from the oil so just flush your eyes with water and put a hot wet wash cloth on your eyes. So far, it seems to work well but only if I use a little bit and don’t put it on my T Zone (forehead, nose, chin). I think it’s a good value for the price, especially because I use so little in a day (only a little bit at the end of the day).

    This product works well for my purpose which is to keep my skin moisturised whilst I shower; it does the job!In the past, my skin would dry out after a shower, but since I started using this product, that no longer happens.The large size lasts longer than the next size down and is better value for money.

    It’s a water based cleanser and CLEANSES the oils, it’s not a truly oil based cleanser. I still like it because it’s simple, foams well, and has no scent

    Meh.
    I saw some European vloggers show this product, and hoped it would work well as a first oil cleanser for me. My skin is not dry, but reactive and dehydrated, so a gentle non-stripping cleanser is a must, otherwise my skin freaks out and makes more oil. I feel like Cera Ve tried to be trendy and deliver a KBeauty inspired product for the European and North American market, but delivered a weird hybrid instead. This product is a thick and dense clear yellow gel cleanser, which was formulated to resemble oil in its consistency. It’s not an oil and doesn’t clean like one. It needs to be applied to wet skin and foams into creamy leather. It feels nice and is pleasant to use, doesn’t sting the eyes or strip my skin. Unfortunately it’s not not very effective at either dissolving or removing skin oil, make up, sunscreen, or mascara. Frustratingly, it leaves a fair amount of dirt and make up behind. I needed a second cleanser after using this one, and my skin and eyes still didn’t feel as clean as when I use oil cleanser followed by a second cleanser. It might work well for someone with dry skin in the mornings, to clean the skin without stripping, but it’s not great for people who use sunscreen, especially physical sunscreens or make up which is made to be water-resistant. Another issue I have with this product is the pump, which dispenses a huge amount of gel. I purchased a large bottle, and am amazed to say that after several days of use I see a considerable amount of product gone. It’s not a very good value for the money.
