    Great product and price
    I use this styling cream to create a slicked-back updo, ponytail, or bun. It keeps my hair in place without causing greasy buildup or looking “wet”. I typically start with either dry or damp hair, pump about a nickel size into my palm and then smooth through my hair. I use a boars bristle hairbrush to create a sleek look. Last a long time! Definitely recommend.

    Scent of a man but works okay
    Product viscosity is good. Straightening power is just okay. Definitely used better products but superior products come at a superior price as well. This is a great value and does an adequate job taming frizz and adding control. I think it smells very masculine but once dried, scent dissipates so it’s not a deal breaker.

    Not What I Expected
    If you live in the dry Southwest U.S. you might like it. If you live in the humid Southeast U.S., maybe not so much. I was seeking a hair product that would tame my slightly frizzy natural mature hair that is between chin-shoulder length. First, as others have stated, the pump does not work. I tried everything to get the pump to disengage from the lock position. So, finally I just opened the cap. As to how it feels: it feels and looks similar to just putting mousse in the hair; ie, it’s a bit stiff after it dries and holds its styling shape but the hair is not really smooth. When I was in the Southwest U.S. it looked smooth and maintained its shape for about 4 days, per the claim. But when I was in the Southeast(Florida), it never looked less frizzy but did hold its shape (like mousse). I followed the directions and put it on wet clean hair (I use salon-grade shampoo and conditioner), then blew it dry. That was a disaster -one big puffy frizzy head. Then I used it letting my hair dry naturally; better but still needed a flat iron. Then I added styling crème to the ends to reduce the frizz that remained. So, for me, it’s an just ok product. I will keep it because it’s better than nothing but not the best I’ve tried.

    All-around Awesome Product
    I am old (76) and my colored, naturally curly hair is dry! This CHI product brings my hair back to lustrous, soft beauty. It’s not oily and it immediately soaks into lightly-damp or dry hair (not wet). It has a natural scent that is clean and fresh. To apply I pump about 1/2 tsp onto palm, and rub hands to spread thinly. Then I lightly smooth open hands over hair surface, from top to ends. To treat hair ends, dispense product then hold a section of hair at a time and gently rub hair between hands, back and forth, and moving downward. Repeat with very small amount of product on ends only if they still look or feel dry (or to touch up). This works great for ponytail days!As a bonus, when your hairdo is complete, give another little pump to your hands and rub CHI product thoroughly into hands, front and back, elbows and your neck! It’s moisturizing but never feels oily. Your skin will feel just as silky as your hair! As the old Brylcream jingle said, “a little dab will do ya” so don’t waste by pumping out too much. Or if you accidentally do, treat your knees too!PS Ask your grandma about Brylcream jingle. I told you I’m old.

    I have naturally curly/wavy hair that doesn’t always look right, so it’s sometimes simpler just to straighten it. But even straightened it sometimes develops unpredictable waves. Using a some of this (I don’t need much because my hair is currently short and relatively thin) and working it through the bottom half of my hair strands before blow drying helps my hair to stay straight and limits frizz.NOTE: As some reviews mentioned, this MUST be heat-activated (i.e. by blowdryer) and I always apply it while my hair is still wet. This product is not designed to act like a serum or conditioner.

    Un produit à utiliser sur cheveux mouillés impérativement !La texture est blanche, très épaisse, il convient d’en mettre très peu et de répartir sur la chevelure.S’il est vrai que les cheveux semblent plus lisse, il ne les nourrit pas plus que ça …il faut du temps pour apprivoiser le produit dont la texture est si épaisse qu’il faut doser au plus juste.Pas mal, à acheter en promotion, ne fait pas de miracles
