    Crayola will always be a great brand
    Crayola has always been a brand that you can trust and these are no different. They are fine liners, so the markers are thinner, but for the ability to mark fine lines, I think it’s fantastic. The markers seem to last longer than many other brands. I have not had any issue with colors bleeding or running into each other. They might soak through a page if it’s thin paper however. I really truly like the size of fine liners as they are easy to hold and color with. I think they are well worth the cost and the ease of shipping on Amazon. The ink quality is also great!

    A must have for your coloring books.. No matter how “young” you are !
    If you have been enjoying the new “adult” coloring craze or have children who love drawing and coloring… These are really great markers.i don’t think there is just one type of marker or pencil that works best for everyone. It all depends on the design and type of patterns and pictures you like to work on. At our house we love having a variety of markers, gel pens and pencils to choose from. Because they all have different qualities and uses and can be used separately or together to give different effects.We had a small set of 8 or 10 of the Ultra-Clean markers and they were one of the markers we preferred. I was glad to find Crayola offered a set with more colors. This boxed set comes with 4 smaller boxes, each holding 10 markers. Actually a handy feature when you’re working with a color family, you don’t have to have the entire box of markers all over the table… Naturally, all the basic colors are included and there are a pretty decent number of different shades for each color family. Including some fun, bright, vibrant colors.This set of 40 colors is a very nice assortment to have.The tip size of the Crayola Ultra-Clean markers makes them perfect for designs/patterns that have small intricate areas. Using the side of the tip they are good for filling in medium areas of the pattern without showing too many line marks. The finer tip is really nice for the fine details, outlining and shading. For designs with larger areas you’ll want to have a set of markers with a broader tip than these. I did a comparison of other fine markers and the broader Crayola Super Tip markers. (see photos)You can use them as your base color and use colored pencils or gel pens over them. You can fill in areas with colored pencils and use the markers over the pencil. for doing details and shading. Both give different effects.The tips on the Ultra-Clean are very nice, durable and they keep their shape really well. They don’t flatten out or become fuzzy like many other brands. The fact that you can use the fine tip for small details and also use the side of the tip for filling in small to medium sized areas makes them really versatile. Many other fine tipped markers have a plastic collar around the nib to help keep it’s shape, so the side us not usable.I checked around for these markers at a number of places.They ween’t available in any of our local stores. Amazon had the best price that I found on line for the set of 40.

    Wasn’t the best for painting on face but fun
    I wanted to use this for simple face painting. I had to press kind of hard on the kids’ faces. Some of the crayons type things broke off and I tried to stick back down in the holder but then it was challenging to use. Some colors did not show as well depending on skin color. So, it is probably fun to play with kids but did not work well to draw simple designs on kid’s faces.

    If you have any kiddos you know how fast they go through markers, crayons either they break them or they dry out or disappear! This comes with a pack so when the first pack goes missing you have a back up!

    I wanted these “totally washout markers” for marking out quilt designs on fabric and come highly recommended. Unfortuantely, I found they were not obtainable in UK. I ordered them through Amazon – Supermart and the process was very easy, well packaged and fast delivery. Well done Supermart and Amazon – very efficient. I have tested the markers on fabric and “as it says on the box – washes out without a trace.” 5 stars.
