    Nice upgrade to our last fryer… Big! Simple! Easy clean up!
    We received a smaller air fryer a few years back as a Christmas present. We really enjoyed using it for just potato wedges, roasted vegetables, and things like that. It too was small to get too adventurous with. Unfortunately, it broke about two weeks ago! After reading some reviews we settled on the Dash 6qt Air Fryer.This air fryer is huge! Today I finally branched out from potatoes and vegetables and was able to successfully make some chicken wings. They were fabulous! I cooked them frozen right out of the freezer and tossed them in some teriyaki sauce… Fabulous!Air fryers are great little kitchen gadgets. This one is a little on the larger side, but it fits a good amount of food in it. Can’t fit it in a cabinet? You’re in luck! It comes in some wild colors and looks nice in the counter (we purchased teal). The fryer has a simple interface without all the silly pre-programmed buttons that others come with (never used them!). Set the temp, set the time, and go! The fryer also feels pretty sturdy and it has been easy to spray clean and wipe down. The booklet it came with says that it’s dishwasher safe, but I feel the longevity of most non-stick surfaces is best if you treat them gently.Recommended!

    Quality air fryer!
     This air fryer has been a lifesaver! I love the color, it’s held up great with tons of use over the years, and it cooks good fast! The food is always crispy and delicious when you follow the instructions. It fits plenty of food for up to 4 people. Highly recommend it for anyone busy that wants to still eat quality food.

    One of the best small Kitchen appliance purchases we ever made
    We bought this air fryer in 2019, and it is still going strong. We use it just about every single day. We LOVE that it will cook a whole chicken or a turkey breast (goodbye rotisserie), and it is the best for re-heating just about anything, like pizza, apple pie, left-overs, etc. It does great at baked potatoes (regular or sweet potatoes), We stab the potatoes, then slather them with olive or peanut oil and sea salt..Mmmm, so delicious!. We have cooked steak, pork chops bacon, chicken, veggies, frozen foods like egg rolls, pizza rolls, FRENCH FRIES, etc.. The only fault that we have with it is the safety guard broke off where you release the inner basket, but it is just my wife and I so we just got used to it not being there. I would also note that it is big but we found a place on the counter and got used to it being there (I am sure there are smaller air fryers out there but this one is big enough to fry a whole 5 pound chicken!). Also, we have never had ours “leak oil” like I have seen other reviewers mention, so I wonder if theirs are defective in some way. I would definitely recommend this air fryer as we have absolutely gotten our money’s worth out of it.

    Nice appliance. Great wings. PROBLEM gasket, should I return?
    This appliance is large. I watched the video with the specific view to comparing the size of the fryer to a human (a small female), so I wasn’t shocked. But to have an air fryer worth bothering with seems like this size is the ticket. I like to cook for two adults with average appetites and a love for veg. This will make veg for two, maybe wings for 3? Looks great with my antique (still in use) minty green 1950’s appliances.PROBLEM: There is a plastic nut with a screw on the bottom of the outer basket. This nut has a silicone cover that serves as a gasket which also keeps the non-stick basket from scraping on the bottom or sides of outer solid “basket” and should keep things leaking out of the bottom. No matter how many times I replace this cover/gasket over the nut and tighten the screw again it ALWAYS COMES OFF DURING COOKING. Which means it leaks oil etc. inside the appliance and on any surface you place the removable unit outside the fryer. Additionally if you aren’t aware this gasket could be (and almost was) washed away in the sink more than once and it is a pain to replace EVERY TIME, plus the oil spills. Is my unit defective?Otherwise a useful and quick kitchen appliance that has pulled it’s weight in the past month. I’m not even a “wing person” (is that a thing?) but this makes some killer wings with a dry spice rub and then dredged in corn starch. Simple and delicious.Wings the true star so far, we like to entertain and they have been a universal hit. We do not eat or reheat much processed food so this is all straight home cooking. I live in potato country (farms all around,) and I will say that if you cut fresh potatoes and then “fry” in here with a small amount of oil you will have something directly in between french fries and the best oven roasted crispy potatoes you have ever eaten. Not actual french fries, but leaning that way. Very tasty though, much less oil to purchase, and MUCH LESS “fried” odor in your house.Buy it if you have enough storage and want wings or “fried” potatoes. But the gasket is a hassle and a problem not everyone will enjoy.

    Decent size, not super loud though most make some noise while running, I like that the basket separates for cleaning.One thing to note if you start the timer and it doesn’t seem to be working open and close the door, safety feature prevents running if open and I find I have to do that occasionally 🙂 actually overdid my first batch of chicken so use the low estimate, this thing is a beast – haha
