I had been specifically looking for a dishwasher product to help de-scale and prevent build up that occurs with hard water usage. This does. The dishwasher cleaner tablets are very easy to use. I have very hard water and get lime build up. The tablets helped my dishwasher run better. I have a stainless steel dishwasher and it tends to get a soapy film inside it. Bought these compact tabs and wow! They are amazing! Like others have mentioned, there is no mess and no messy product to deal with. Just pop in a tab and run dishwasher on regular cycle. My dishwasher looks brand new and I have had it for several years now. And it is certainly reflected on my dishes also! You don’t run it with dishes inside, but after you clean the dishwasher you can see a difference in the cleanliness and sparkle of your glassware and dishes! When dishwasher is especially dirty looking, I usually put one tab in the dispenser and 1 tab on bottom of dishwasher. Otherwise, I just toss 1 onto the floor of dishwasher and let it do it’s magic! Didn’t Clean as Well as Vinegar
After using the cleaning tablet, my dishwasher wasn’t very clean. The screen on the bottom was still very dirty and there were stains left on the bottom and sides of the dishwasher. They wiped off with a sponge but the reason I bought the cleaner tablets was so I didn’t have to hand clean it. I gave it 3 stars because I only used it once and the instructions say you may have to do it more than once.
