Customers say
Customers like the quality and appearance of the air fryer. For example, they mention that it’s easy to use and does a great job. That said, some complain about the cooking time and smell. They say that it takes a long time to preheat and that the juices create too much smoke. Opinions are mixed on size, cleanability, and heating.

Love love love this oven.
I LOVE this oven, I bought my first one one 4 years ago, I think I use it every day. I saw a deal so I picked up a back up. I just couldn’t get by without it. Easy to use, I haven’t had a single issue with it . I cook my bacon in it at breakfast, reheat food for lunch, use it for dinner 5 nights a week. A great quality oven for the cost .

Surprising Performance
I’m impressed. This thing is easy to use, cooks well in all phases, and is fairly easy to keep clean. I have another table top oven sitting in the basement that is there because it doesn’t do any phase very well and it impossible to clean. This one can deliver what it promises, and takes up less space. My only real issue is you have to be extra careful cleaning the interior because of the heating element placement, but I’d certainly recomend it to a friend.

good with minor design deficiencies
Compared to similar in size Breville 670: on the good side, this one would make frozen waffles quite decent on bagel setting. Also, I like steel heaters that are more reliable than quartz when are dripped over, and I do like the absence of “smart chip” that does something without explanations. Emeril algorithm is much simpler, well explained in the manual, and therefore the result is predictable. However, the Breville oven looks more expensive (which it is). I was not too successful making french fries on air-fry setting, but that could be just me. Baking is fine. What I do not like about Emeril:- the LCD display loses contrast if placed at your eye level or higher (Breville’s LCD is as bad. They say more expensive Breville models have much better displays, but alas they are much bigger, and I wanted a mini oven, not a major appliance).- the LCD display is too busy, and functions are hard to read- the main control knob is the smallest one – an idiotic design choice, if you ask me. When you choose the function, it rotates too easy, and you have to be careful to select the right one. Two large knobs are for secondary settings, which is counterintuitive, so Breville wins this round.- the buttons are marked not very clearly- the beep is not overly loud, but could wake up someone else, and not sure if it can be turned off.So, overall, the oven seems worth its money, and I do not regret the purchase.

Tips
I read most reviews and can address a few issues. My spouse and I are also older and experienced cooks. First, cover your drip pan with foil before you cook anything. The burning and warping issues will disappear. Also cover your “pizza” pan with foil. These pans are not high quality and will be ruined quickly if you don’t add a layer of protection. The airfryer function is just okay. I have used it twice but prefer my one function air fryer. For baking, we reduce the heat by 10 degrees and check it way before stated cook times. The baking feature tends to overcook. We did a 4 lbs. Rotisserie chicken tonight. We have a weber charcoal/wood grill with a Rotisserie, and we had the best chicken ever with this oven. You must tie it up with kitchen string though and really balance the chicken when skewering. Test it by skewering and turning it in your hands to test the balance before placing it in the oven. I included a picture to help with the visuals. Fall off the bone good but we cut the cooking time to 50 minutes. Also, keep plenty of space around your oven. People aren’t kidding about the heat it puts out and I accidentally burned my forearm on the outside top of the oven when I reached over to unplug it.Update! We successfully cooked a 6 pound chicken. It was succulent and amazing. I would NOT do anything bigger than that.

Excellent purchase
We replaced our toaster oven and basket style air fryer with this and it was a great decision. I was reluctant at first mostly worried about losing too much counter space but it’s only slightly bigger than our toaster oven was and we use this thing all the time. We’ve had it for a couple months now and can’t think of anything I don’t like about it.

Amazingly underwhelmed, SMOKE!
Original review: I bought this to replace my basket air fryer and my toaster oven, supposedly 2 in 1! I was surprised, once removed from the cardboard box, how SMALL this Emeril 360 air fryer is! My toaster oven, inside dimensions 14in x 10in, I could cook cakes! My bunt pan doesnât even fit inside this 360! Inside dimension 12âx7â! Debating if I want to even try it or just box it back up and return it. On tv it shows cooking several different items at the same time. Not sure exactly how when there are only baskets that fit in the slots, the only actual tray/pan can only be used on top of basket. Cook any meat on tray, it sits in its own grease. Yep, more I think about using it, The more I am convincing myself that I should just return it. UPDATE!! I kept the 360 to try it out. WOW! My old air fryer when something said it took five minutes to cook, it took five minutes. It heated up so fast that you did not have to preheat the air fryer. The 360 fryer, if it takes five minutes to cook, prepare yourself for at least a 12-15 minute period. it takes five minutes to preheat to 400, cook for five minutes, then an additional 2 to 5 minutes to actually cook all the way through. The 360 does not cook as fast or as thorough as the old fryer. The Emeril 360 gets so extremely hot, anything within 12 inches around the air fryer gets hot! I had a plastic bowl start to melt. The Emeril 360 smokes continually. No matter how clean the basket is, how clean the inside of the oven is, how clean the drip tray is, the Emerald 360 smokes! Not just a little smoke but a lot of smoke. I have the exhaust fan over the stove on, I have the ceiling fan in the dining room on, the smoke detector in the living room has gone off. Lol! Emeril claims you can cook a 12 lb turkey, I had a bone in turkey breast 5.25 pounds, laying on its side, and it barely fit! And it LEAKS! Anything you cook, the steam (?), juice from the food, Iâm not exactly sure where itâs coming from, just a puddle of Yuck drips from the rear right corner onto counter! If youâre looking for a new air fryer, think long and hard and do your research. I wish I had gone in store and actually looked closer at this one. If I read more of the reviews they gave less than three stars I would not have bought this one. Iâm waiting for it to break, so I can replace it. Iâve already started going into stores and doing research. Lol.Update: bought 10/2022, threw out 2/29/2024! Tired of smoke alarms going off every time Iâve used this horrid machine! Tired of stuff leaking out of back right leg! Tired of not being able to cook multiple levels as advertised! Shopping for new AIR FRYER that does even 1/2 of what it claims! Open for suggestions.

I like that it automatically adjusts the time required to cook various foods, for example, how long to toast 2 versus 4 or 6 slices of bread.

I bought this item to replace my original Emeril Lagasse air fryer which I have basically used every day since purchasing it several years ago. Finally the door hinge gave out. If we are able to repair it, we will relocate it to the cottage. I love the multiple functionality of this product. The food cooks beautifully and it is ideal in our two person household.

I purchased this item from Amazon strictly because it was Amazon. I have had to return an item to Amazon in the past and they were very helpful. My one serious complaint with this item is the price. I paid $ 338 or so Canadian. This same unit was for sale and in stock at Wal-Mart on the same day for $ 249.00 Canadian. The larger XL version could be purchased from W/M for less than I paid for the unit in question. I guess I expected Amazon to be more competitive than it was in this case. I felt that if I unpacked the Wal-Mart unit ( not easy by the way ) and it proved defective/damaged, I would likely have had a real problem with a return to them given the high dollar amount. The unit itself is as advertised, no problem with it, just this nagging feeling that I may have “given away” nearly a hundred dollars.
