    Good Design and Thinner Than Others Which Is a Good Thing
    These bags come as they are advertised in the ad. When I opened the package, there was no smell, which is always a bonus. I tested my phone in all of the bags, and no signal got through; however, I did not test their claim for them to be fire retardant. But they are water resistant; the outside has a silicone-type material. I have tried several other Faraday bags, and these are by far the thinnest, and they are just as good. The price point for what you get is great, and this would make a great starter pack for anyone as well as a nice gift. In fact, I think I will be getting additional key-sized ones ~ I like that it comes with a lobster-type clasp to use if you want as well. T The straps and lanyard are a nice touch and functional. The only thing I think they should consider changing is making the lanyard a breakaway type. If you need some Faraday bags, these will not disappoint.

    Great faraday starter kit
    I picked this kit up just in case. I have a number of items in my emergency kits that are electronics and they had no protection most likely from a solar flare. I’m not big on the EMP conspiracy theory but it never hurts to have some protection. The phone and tablet bags however were for my laptop bag. I travel for work and would like to ensure my devices are safe while traveling. You never know when someone is going to try and skim your device at an airport or hotel but having my tablet and phone in bags prevents that from occurring. doesnt hurt to put the key fob in a bag either. When my car sits at the airport parking garage, its nice to know no one can walk by me, copy my remote and take the car while I’m out of town. It’s just being a little extra cautious and for this price it’s worth the purchase. I put my tablet, phone and key fob in the bags and tested all three – couldn’t see them, no WiFi, no bluetooth or IR escaped so they work.

    These things are nice. Never knew anything about them until TikTok. They work great. Placed my phone in each one to test them and I lost all signals each time. Would highly recommend these.

    Good bags – Not sure how much protection they provide
    Short version: Yes, I recommend these protective bags as Faraday cages (RF signal blocking), but cannot verify their actual EMP protection (obviously).Electronics are our lifeline. Computer, smart phone, Apple Watch, and so much more, are what keep us informed and functioning. They are so important (to us) that we have redundant computers (e.g. desktop, Macbook Air, iPads, iPhones, just in case… So these EMP/Faraday protective bags seemed a good way to store those backups.Note: closing the bags (double roll & velcro) affects what actually fits, e.g. 13″ Macbook Air fits in the large bag, but cannot be securely closed. However, the extra large bag accommodates both the Air and a Chromebook. So just be sure that you can securely close the bag.Testing: I could not simulate an EMP, but using the Wifi and Bluetooth signals from devices, I could test the Faraday signal blocking effectiveness. Bluetooth and Wifi signals were not affected until the bag was doubled & velco sealed. As soon as it was unsealed, the connections resumed.Summary: these bags passed the tests as effective as Faraday cages, and should protect (not tested) the contained devices from an EMP, provided they are securely sealed… Repeat: “Securely sealed”

    These work! I don’t have a tester but I put my phone in one and when I took it out I had to turn the airplane mode on then off to get it to reconnect with the cell tower. You can clearly see the silver material known to block emfs inside each case. Great product! Thanks…

    I’m impressed!
    You get 5 different sized bags, 3 different straps, and even a card the size of a CC to protect your wallet, all for half the price of one “name brand” bag!The picture has a Samsung Note 9 phone in a case, and a 15″ Lenovo laptop for size comparison.I tested a bag by putting the note 9 in a bag, properly closing the bag, and then calling the phone. The note 9 never rang, and the call went to voicemail. I then took the note 9 out of the bag and called it again and it started ringing. Brilliant!I can fully recommend this set of bags if you’re looking for a faraday bag.

    Good Deal On A 5-Pack
    Faraday bags are quickly getting better than previous iterations. These are the best yet with quality fabrication and great new features like the handles and lanyards. The closure rolls over to keep the shield as consistent as possible and they all pass the phone test. At least all that a phone will fit into! With the political unrest and shocking border policies, an EMP event is more likely than ever. It is time to be prepared in new and different ways.
