    Highly recommend for first timers!
    I love this thing! It’s super easy to use & clean – not to mention it cuts cooking time in half. I’ve never been able to make chicken as tender, juicy and with so much flavor before. There are TONS of air fryer recipes out there that I’ve finally been able to plan & make meals that even my picky kids will eat that are also so much healthier than using a deep fryer.I bought this as a first-time air fryer user, so I was solely dependent on reviews and didn’t want to spend a ton on something I wasn’t sure I was going to use. When I stumbled on this one, the price was great and was highly recommended.Since I haven’t used any other air fryer and am still learning all of its features, I can only comment on this particular product but I will say as a family of 4, I do wish I got the bigger size since you can’t overcrowd the pan in order to cook everything evenly. So, depending on the size of food & people you are cooking for, it may take several batches to complete. That being said, with the decease in cook time its usually not that big of a deal & the outcome is well worth the wait.So far, it’s been perfect for us & highly recommend to those on the fence about purchasing one.

    Great Quality
    This was America’s Test Kitchen 2nd place winner in their air fryer product test. I originally purchased their 1st place winner which was the Philips brand. Philips seemed to dry out the food too much for my liking. Returned the Philips and purchased this one. I have had it for 1year now, and I use it every day. In the past year I have only used my full size over twice. My very first air fryer was the NuWave brand, but it stopped working after 6 months, and was very hard to clean. This GoWise brand is much easier to clean, performs well, produces great quality food, pretty quiet operation, comes with a lot of great accessories, and is very nice looking. Although, I must say the material used in the Philips air fryer was by far the easiest one to clean. I have not needed to use many of the accessories that came with the unit. However, I have used the pizza pan about 5 times. The pizza pan has lost its coating over time even with me only hand washing it. I would still highly recommend this air fryer over other brands.

    I had to join the air fryer craze as everyone surrounding me has one and raves about them.I love to cook and this is been a lot of fun (mostly) getting the hang of! There’s a learning curve to be sure , and you may cook a few french fries to the likeness of a tree branch …but just pay attention, take note of what you’re doing , and adjust accordingly.( Note that it does take a lot less time to cook something then you might think And regularly shaking your food in the basket is imperative.). I now have all forms of potatoes mastered and am moving on to other things . It’s great for reheating foods and makes a crazy good grilled cheese sandwich. I have not used my microwave to reheat leftovers since I got this air fryer. It is a huge improvement. This is a nice size unit, I am generally cooking for two and we are both hearty eaters. The accessory pack is a must. The unit is a bit bulky on the counter but I don’t see any way around that. (I have mine in red and it matches my KitchenAid and other red appliances). This is something that I use almost daily and will continue to do so as I continue to gain expertise. Highly recommend. I do suggest that you run it through several cycles EMPTY before you initially cook anything in it As it smells a little bit odd at first.Love it. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend. This is something that instantly earned a permanent place on the counter.

    Good Air Fryer but not for me….
    I’m sure that as far as air fryers go this one rates well. Some of my friends have them, one has this exact model, & they love cooking with them. I just couldn’t get the hang of it. We don’t eat alot of the things that they say are excellent – fries, chicken wings, etc. It really isn’t big enough for a family of 5, you have to do things in batches. Also, I am short on counter space so couldn’t leave it out all the time. Kind of a hassle to keep getting it out every time I wanted to use it. I bought cookbooks specifically for air frying & I tried several recipes but after a few disappointing meals I decided it wasn’t for me. It is good for heating up leftover pizza or other fast food but we don’t eat those things often so not worth the effort. As for the fryer itself, it worked fine, the controls were easy to understand, & it has pre-programmed settings for certain foods. It is a bit loud while operating. I couldn’t return it so ended up giving it to a friend.

    About the accessories…the truth…
    Okay, I bought the 5.8 qt. fryer and love it. It’s great and works the way it’s supposed to. However, I’d like to clear something up about the accessories and how they fit. They are almost worthless, especially the wire ones. I may be able to use the pot and the pan that comes with it. First, the accessories that come with it ARE shipped in the box with the fryer. So I’m assuming GoWise sells these as “made to fit” the fryer but THEY DON’T. They are NOT 8 inches, they are 6 inches across. They are tiny compared to the cooking area in the basket. Not to mention they are ROUND. Your fryer basket is not round, it is square with rounded corners. You lose a considerable amount of surface area for cooking just because of the accessories being round. You won’t be able to use them unless you put considerably more on the bottom (basket surface) and then use the little rack(s) to elevate the cook area. Even then you’re only going to get maybe one chicken breast or three wings or one steak on the elevated rack. Remember, in order for the fryer to work properly, you have to maintain air flow around the food. It just simply doesn’t work with this fryer. I am seriously disappointed that GoWise actually ships these in the same box with the fryer as accessories to the fryer. I will probably buy a Brio next time. They are the ONLY company that doesn’t use these crappy accessories. Theirs actually does fit their machine. So that’s it, the truth. The fryer is great, but don’t spend the extra money on the accessories, you can use a regular 8 inch cake pan or silicone baking vessels in this fryer. The cake pan and pot that come with it are tiny as well, they are not even 7 inches. Don’t waste your money.

    Amo mi freidora de aire, he preparado de todo, carnes, pollo, verduras, papas a la francesa y hasta he preparado panes y pasteles! La he usado para tostar el pan de caja, para dorar los bolillos es la mejor!!! Lo mejor de todo es que cocinamos sin aceite o con muy poco aceite (depende de la preparación) y la estufa ya está toda salpicada de aceite! Les recomiendo esta porque es de buena capacidad, trae los accessorios muy prácticos y es muy fácil de usar.

    Purchased based on the positive reviews on America’s Test Kitchen. Very easy to use and clean. Large basket enables the user to air fry relatively large quantities of food at once, thereby reducing the number of multiple batches. For a family of four, it is perfect. We use ours regularly as a healthy alternative to frying and an energy efficient alternative to using the range.

    Pros: everything crispy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside, cooks quickly, relatively quiet, easy to use, can use olive oil, way healthier than deep frying. Cons: takes up counter space, perforated non-stick basket takes a little more time to clean, does not replicate a professional deep fryer but as close as you can get.

    He usado la freidora varias veces y voy aprendiendo para qué sirve y para qué no es tan adecuada. Los panes no me han funcionado, pero las papas fritas y las alitas quedan muy bien, usando muy poco aceite. Preparé pescado empanizado, pero por el tipo que usé no quedó muy bien. Las recetas del libro incluido no siempre funcionan, pero hay muchísima información en Internet, pues las freidoras de aire están de moda. El acabado antiadherente está muy bien y se ve resistente, es fácil de limpiar. En resumen, un aparato muy útil, fácil de usar, rápido y conveniente, con algunas excepciones.
