    Perfect sun hat for a preschooler!
    My 3-yo wore the pink bunny one of these hats and my 6-yo wore the dinosaur one. They thought they were so cool and were happy to wear them– this is saying something because they have often refused hats in the past. I love all the features of this hat: broad brim, covers the neck, good chin strap to keep it on, vents, adjustable diameter. My kids loved the sunglasses that they came with, and they fit perfectly. The whistle is a nice safety feature, as long as you can convince your kids that they are ONLY for emergencies, lol. The only issue was that the chin strap was a little hard to attach; I found it was easiest if I put the whole hook through the loop, then pulled it back through to get the hook attached to the loop.

    great coverage without limiting vision
    This is a practical and cute hat. I ordered it for my 7 year old but my 5 year old is the one who usually wears it. The sizing says 3-8 year olds which is probably accurate. It might be a bit large on a 3 year old but it fits both my 5yo (who is small for age) and his nearly 8 year old brother. The brim is stiff enough to not fall into the way of peripheral vision and the back flap has great neck coverage. The dinosaur spines and eyes are cute and the color is bright blue which stands out in public places. Overall, it’s a great choice!

    Our little one really likes the hat, and it has some very nice protective features.
    Our little one really likes the hat. It has some very nice features like the comfort band around the inside, the removable and adjustable chin strap, the adjustable hat-size/headband, and the ponytail hole. The neck flap does a great job protecting the back of the neck. Although the crown is a bit wrinkly, the large bill is not wrinkly and holds its shape well.This is not a big complaint, but I wish the whistle was removable. I can’t think of a time when giving a toddler a whistle is EVER a good idea. Just an opinion. (smile)

    excellent sun coverage
    This hat is super cute and very functional. It covers everything on the face and neck from the sun and stays well secured. It has mesh for good air flow and even came with cute sunglasses and a whistle. This fit my 5 year old with plenty of room to grow.

    Toddler’s favorite hat & sunglasses
    It gets very hot where we live and a hat is a must in the summer. Our almost 3yo Toddler adores this hat, blows on the whistle and wears the sunglasses everyday.We got the 3-8 range hat, the sizing and fit is great, our toddler is tall for her age and her head is on the bigger side too. We do use the strap at the back to adjust to fit her head better, and we like there is room to grow into it.Also the mesh is great making it breathable, dries fast and the back of the hat is long giving her full sun protection on her back and shoulders. The front rim is also long, our toddler doesn’t need to wear sunglasses when she is wearing this hat. There is also a ponytail hole. The bunny print is simple, the ears make it cuter and the color is coral pink.The reason we took 1 star off is because the hooks for the chin strap (loop) are not of great quality and the it has come loose a couple of times, especially if you pull.

    Quack Hat
    This hat put a lot of fun and laughter to my family. The hat just gives a lot of brightness into your day. This is made very well and there are no flaws into the manufacturing of it. The stitching is done very well where there are no crooked seams or loose threads. The fabric used is pretty durable. It seems like some sort of durable material that should last a very long time. One of the best parts is that the brim of the hat does cover up on the shoulders of your child and does some sun protection. The sunglass accessory that it come with is decently made as well but my kid doesn’t care much about it. It’s mainly the hat that’s the most usable part though wherever your kid wants to wear this. I have no disagreements to whatever they want to wear as long as it puts smiles on people’s faces.
