Not perfect but it works well
I was using a one piece Rubbermaid dish rack before and couldn’t stand that I couldn’t clean under the rack, the water wouldn’t drain so it just got so dirty and gross. I wanted something that wouldn’t do that and I could clean easier so I searched for hours. I’m glad I found this dish rack because it drains well with my sink, not perfectly but the drain board is very easy to slide out and clean if needed. I saw reviews saying that the drain board moves easily and the plates don’t sit up right. So far, I haven’t had an issue with the board moving but I can see how it could happen. Most of my dishes don’t seem to touch it though. It’s also very easy to fix if you notice it move, it just rests on the feet of the rack. My plates do sit a little awkwardly which is probably my only complaint so far but I just tilt them so they can rest properly enough to be stable. As you can see in my picture, I was able to fit a lot of dishes to dry. I have a very small section between my stove and sink that I keep the rack so I couldn’t get anything too large. This one is small enough to fit but is big enough to fit a good amount of dishes. If you want to get an affordable dish rack, this is a great option. My rubbermaid was cheap but I also had to replace it often. In the end, it’s worth it to spend a little more money to buy something that won’t have to be replaced as often. I don’t know how long this one will last since I’ve only had it for a few weeks or so but I definitely see it lasting much longer than the Rubbermaid. I recommend buying this one, it’s not perfect but nothings perfect. I believe it works well enough and looks nice, it’s a good affordable dish rack worth trying.

    Large capacity and drains well
This KitchenAid dish rack came promptly, was easy to assemble and has been a great replacement to the old plastic kind that gets moldy quickly due to improper drainage. Some people complained of spill over drainage and I am not noticing that. It may depend on how your stack your dishes. Just in case, I placed an absorbent dish drying mat under the rack but have not noticed it getting wet. Yes the plates don’t stand exactly upright, but they don’t fall over. We are a family of 3 adults who cook a lot, don’t use a dishwasher and are a bit lazy about putting dishes away until its a mountain about to crash, so you can get a lot in it. I didn’t like the separators in the utensil compartments because you can’t get as much in each utensil tray, so I took them out and I used them under the back legs of the rack for extra elevation and drainage. They are sturdy plastic and fit snuggly under the rubber grips on the rack’s feet. I have had the rack about 3 weeks and don’t see any corrosion or mold. The chrome finish does get water spots but we have hard water and that would be normal here. I am very pleased with the purchase. This is the best and most attractive rack I have owned.

Looks nice and is well made.
The drainer looks very nice, is sturdy, and has no plastic to peel off. It is sloped so the water drains out nicely. I don’t care for the silverware separators but they are removable. The plates will fall over if not stacked in the correct direction but doesn’t take long to figure that out. The glasses drain nicely on the edge of the rack. After getting used to it I would buy it again

    Better than you even expect
This dish drainer is pricey, but worth every penny. It is very roomy and can easily accommodate a full dinner’s worth of dishes. The cutlery bins have two sections with slots to keep your good knives from getting dull from hitting the other knives and forks. My only nitpick is that the main cutlery compartment is one large bin. If you put in just a few knives and forks, they lean to one side, and very short implements can fall down to the bottom and lie flat. It would have been nice if they had included a way to slide in an optional divider for that bin.I love the way that they engineered the drain mat into the frame. It slides in and extends under the slots where water escapes from the cutlery bin. You can adjust how far you pull it out over the sink quite a ways and still have it catch the water from the cutlery. The front of the rack has prongs (or whatever you call them) for glasses. It works well. The mat catches water from small glasses, while larger glasses can drain directly into the sink.It is clear that someone cared about thoughtfully engineering a product that meets customers’ needs.

    Love my new KitchenAid
This new one replaced my old KitchenAid Dish Drainer. This holds a lot of pots, pans, and dishes including my really big Hexclad Skillets as you can see in the included pics. I love this new look, it is sleek and stylish. It is built well, drains well, does exactly what it is supposed to do and looks great while doing it. If you are looking for something that hold a lot of dishes and can handle your big pots and pans that looks nice as well, you won’t be disappointed in this.

Perfect for large pans and sturdy. The spoon rack is to the back. Would have been convenient if it was to the side
