    Calce perfecto

You get the feeling Ram Promaster Citys weren’t a high priority.
I’ve used plenty of Metra products in the past, but this one didn’t thrill me. The quality of the materials was nothing unusual for a dash kit, and the instructions were reasonable. It’s the fit and finish I didn’t like. I had to take a Dremel and trim corners down to get the side brackets to line up correctly. Also, the radio brackets really needed to be made in such a way that they could have had more available mounting positions. The way it had to go caused the radio to have to sit in there at a downhill angle a little bit. And the radio wobbled up and down after it was all put together, which I didn’t like. The radio shoves in and locks in place with a plastic tab on either side, and there needs to be something different to hold it. If it’s going to sit in there that loose, there needs to be some provision made for the bottom of the radio to be supported somehow. There isn’t enough room for a bottom plate, but there could have been some rods used in the kit to come up at an angle and attach to the back of the radio, or to just hold up on the rear of it by having a universal adjustable bracket there. As stated, this kit was seemingly madeas a quick solution for a vehicle that was not a big seller, and no doubt the Mustang and Ram kits are much better. Just a little disappointing when fitment issues give you problems when you have everything hanging out of the dash, and you get to where you just want to be done.
