    Easy to use air fryer
I had some good experiences with Midea rice cooker when I am in Canada. After moving to Charlotte, I decided to try their new air fryer. I like the user interface with clear LED menu that only lighted when you touch the screen. I am not a great chef, but the lemon chicken wings turned out to be really tasty with minimum efforts. The cooking is fast, and there is a well written colored menu came with the package. Cannot wait to try more recipes. It is a great buy for its value

    Nice But Limited in Capacity
I found this air fryer a little difficult to set up to use. One cannot set the temperature or time to cook directly. One has to select the menu function first: Air Fry, Grill, Bake, Roast, Broil, Reheat, Dehydrate, or keep warm. Then one modifies the default temperature and time to cook from that function. The problem is that each function has a limited range of temperature and time, ie, you cannot grill for more than 30 minutes. Also, the units are not shown: the temperature is obviously shown in degrees Fahrenheit, but the time to cook is in minutes for all functions, except dehydrate, which shows the time in hours. The cooking tray and basket are NOT dishwasher safe. Handwashing is required. The air fryer comes with a recipe booklet. But many of the recipes use pre-prepared ingredients. I like to cook from scratch, so the recipes that use anything other than single ingredients are useless to me. There was a nice recipe for sweet potato fries though. They came out very tasty if a little limp. Apparently, if I want them crispier I need to add more oil. But, that defeats one of the purposes for an air fryer – frying with air alone.I made the orange slices from the recipe booklet also. I am not sure why one would want to dehydrate a nice juicy orange, but the air fryer does a nice job of doing so.The main drawback of this air fryer is its very small capacity. I was only able to fit 3/4 of a cut-up sweet potato onto its cooking shelf. The ingredients cannot be more than one layer high for the “frying” function to work. 3/4 of a sweet potato is less than one serving for anyone in my family. One sliced orange is all that will fit in it.Another drawback is having to add oil to air fry something. The device is more a small convection oven, instead of an air fryer.Generally though, it does an adequate job if you do not expect too much.

Nice sized air fryer with a lot of options
This air fryer has a good capacity and a lot of options to choose from with its touch-screen controls. I can easily fit enough chicken wings in the basket to feed two people. The interface is responsive and allows a lot of adjustability. I really like the ability to quickly add or subtract minutes from the cooking time, depending on how the food looks. It includes a cookbook with some nice recipes that are on the higher end of the scale. There are not many for basic foods like wings; oddly enough, because the book cover has a nice photo of wings but no recipes for them. The recipes are a little on the fancier side of air frying. The fryer cooks great, though. It’s handled everything I’ve thrown in it (including wings, of course) and produced very nice results. Cleanup is pretty easy, as the nonstick coating helps a lot to remove any stuck-on bits. I have been using paper liners to make it even easier.I bought 8″ paper liners for it, as the cooking plate is 8″ square, but the pan itself is 8.5″. So 8″ fits well.As far as negatives, the fryer is a fingerprint magnet with many high-gloss surfaces, including the touch controls. Keeping it clean on the outside surfaces does require a little effort. The interior lighting is a little dim, and it’s tough to see how the food is cooking through the drawer window unless I turn my kitchen light off, but at least it has a window and a light, which most do not.The fryer performs exceptionally well. I have had other brands of air fryers, and this one does an excellent job of providing even browning and crispy textures. It is well above average.Overall, I am very happy with this fryer. It produces very tasty food with a minimum of effort, and that’s why we have air fryers, isn’t it?

    very quiet
I have one air fryer already, but decided to also get this one, as sometimes we tend to have to cook in batches. This one feels rather compact,. There was no setup or steps required, as it arrived ready to use, besides washing the inner basket to remove any residual contents from factory. The basket fits snuggly inside, to the point that you can safely flip it upside down to remove contents without it falling along side your food. It is very quiet working, and the touchpad is rather simple and straight forward to use. Cooking wise, it cooks fine as long you do not over fill the basket. I do not think you will be able to fit 12 wings in this one as the seller claims, unless they are mini wings, but there is enough cooking space to cook for two people. I find that his one has a more gentle heat than my other air fryer and it is very hard to burn food in it.
