    This is the best product to help keep my bath towels and other white items sharp and bright white. I use this on some of my clothes that have darker color with white stripes and it does a good job with them as well. This is my go to for white items.

    Bright whites!
    Great product! One of my white tops with black striped stained a reddish color because I washed it with my brand new red dress (oops) and I decided to purchase these to save my top. It really removed the stains and brightened the shirt. Not only that, my white t-shirt in the same load was visibly whiter as well as other clothing. It is definitely safe on colors because I added it to my white clothing that contained many colors.

    Works great on cottons and cotton blends!
    I was hoping that this would remove the blue hue from my formerly white polyester tank tops, but after two overnight soakings using an extra packet, sadly no.However, my cotton nightgown that had picked up a pink hue came out beautifully white after being washed with detergent and this product on the normal cycle.I’m going to try running my tank tops through the washing machine in hopes of good results.Bottom line: It definitely works very well on cottons, but the jury is still out for polyesters.UPDATE: Bottom line: This product WORKS beautifully on cottons and cotton blends. It definitely doesn’t work on polyester!

    FINALLY AN AMAZON PRODUCT THAT REALLY WORKS!
    A friend of mine is a design engineer with a major manufacturer of washing machines. I don’t know how the conversation turned to laundry, but hey, I’m discussed many crazy things with also crazy people. He told me, but I never asked, how bad it was to put real 100% bleach on a washing machine. He said after a while it could become caustic and eat at the metal or plastic drum. The problem with this bleach, as well al know is you can’t put it in a laundry with color clothes as it will remove the color where the bleach touches the garment. Yes, I’m guilty, I made a mistake like that once and ruing two good TShirts. At least now I can use them for paining shirts or just rags.I saw these Oxi packets and they received a positive review. So I purchased a an envelope and threw one packet into the washer drum itself. When I wash I use detergent, sani rinse, softener but have no room for any more additives. I was very surprised that my white shirts were actually bright white. If there are many dull garments I might throw an extra packet it. I even tried it on clothes with a lot of color and no problem. It just makes life so much easier by just tossing a white packet. Aren’t we all looking for ways to make our lives just a little easier? Oh yes, my friend said it’s okay to use bleach for a cleaning cycle of the washer since you don’t do it all the time. One very important note, and I realize we all know this, but it bears repeating. Store these packages on a high shelf where children can’t reach them. A safety note of great importance!

    Best Whitener
    This is the best additive to my wash. My husband is a farmer. He come home sweaty, stinky and very dingy every day! I drop on of these pods into the wash with his clothes and you would never know what he had done the day before. This if for EVERYTHING, from jeans to white t’s .My mother made a mistake in her wash, added something colored into her white wash and everything came out tinted. I gave her a pod, she rewashed and it was pure magic. She now used these pods to do her whites instead of bleach. I recommend these to everyone I know. It is a must have in my house!

    I’m glad I bought Oxyclean White. Just one was and white tees that were dingy look so much better. I also put light-colored bath towels in the same load and they came out freshened up also (light pink towels. I wouldn’t put something medium or dark in there). Yes, took off one star for value. Is that fair? I’m not sure since everything is expensive out there. Still, very worth it to revive your whites and light colors.
