    Great Shears!
    These kitchen shears Are great value for the money. We love the color because it blends in with our current set of knives. Use these for months they have retained their sharpness. Being able to separate the blades for cleaning has been great compared to our old shears that wouldn’t separate and got rusty. These are made of high-quality material and very durable. No rust!

    Never stop finding good uses for these things!
    These OXO kitchen scissors are just about the most useful item in our kitchen. They are so easy to take apart to clean and dry then put back together, and we have only sharpened them … Ever? Once maybe? I have gotten so lazy making salads, I just throw the ingredients in my big wooden bowl, add some dressing, and give it all a few good chomps with the scissors. Itcomes out perfectly tossed and chopped, and minimally mashed or bruised. Perfect to eat in seconds. As a result we eat a lot more lovely, healthy salads than we ever used to. They are also good at chopping up much sturdier foods – stew meat, and surprisingly chunky vegetables. I find they work well for my arthritic lady-sized hands, and my husband is equally enthusiastic. We have never worn out a pair. Just given them away or taken them someplace and forgotten them…

    Better than What I Had
    My thumb used to get caught in the smaller hold on a former pair of otherwise very good scissors. This is such a fantastic replacement — light, very easy to clean (and dishwasher safe), ergonomic (thumb no longer gets caught) and cuts well. Wish I had replaced my old scissors with these years ago! Kudos on the design!

    Good scissors, pain in the bum to clean.
    This looked like the ideal kitchen scissors to me – sturdy, made by a reliable brand, and easy to disassemble for proper cleaning.What is not mentioned is the hollows on the insides of both handles – not the part you touch all that much, but the insides where the handles meet when the scissors are closed. I figure they’re for the sole purpose of making the scissors lighter and using less plastic ergo costing less to manufacture and ship.But those holes are a right pain to get into and clean by hand. They’re narrow and made of black material, so it’s not easy to see whether you’ve gotten the last bit of raw meat out. Sure, if you’re using these scissors normally you’re not going to be touching those inner edges all that much, but it seems genuinely bass-ackwards to design a pair of kitchen scissors that can be taken apart for easy cleaning, but then add in two gaping holes that can collect more grime and are hard to clean. It’s like they wanted to make it both easier and harder at the same time?They work well enough as kitchen scissors and I appreciate the herb stripper holes, but dang. I hate using these because cleaning them after is such a chore.

    Nice scissors, even the wife like these
    My wife has arthritis in her hands but she can use these with no trouble. That’s a win for me. I like how they can come apart and be put in the dishwasher. Very sanitary.

    This is exactly what I expect for a pair of kitchen shears from OXO:Pros:- Good at cutting stuff: and it definitely has that “good grip”. I’ve tried cutting meat and plastic with grease on it, and it works great without any slipping.- Ergonomic: it’s handles have that cushion design for easy of use. Unlike some other kitchen shears I’ve used, this one is super easy to have shears wide open, while still maintaining a good handling.- Easy to clean: it can be easily disassembled, and it is dishwasher-safe.Con(s):- Some might find this shears’ handles a bit small, I am 180cm with normal size hands and I wish its handles are just slightly larger. But rest assure this does not affect any of its use.I would highly recommend this pair of kitchen shears.
