Amazing product with a few adjustments
 Ok so I have used this item for a whole week now before writing this review.This device works pretty decently for the price. I paid around $79 when it was on sale. I was very skeptical because I read a bunch of mixed reviews. But here is my honest review.The wires that are supplied are long enough to accommodate many vehicles, I installed this in a Ford Escape. The backup camera wire is a little short with the wire that connects to the tail light only, the rest of it to reach the unit was long enough with a little bit of extra slack.The stand that it comes with has double sided tape on the bottom, youâll need a plastic surface for it to adhere well, vinyl or soft dash trim will NOT work with the mount that comes with the unit.Apple CarPlay works just as itâs supposed to, no lag when youâre using GPS apps. As you can see in my video, the screen touch response time is very good, not flawless but very exceptional. I did not test Android Auto.Phone mirror function also works very well, I just prefer apple carplay.The dash cam is AMAZING. The quality is great on the camera, I was very amazed to see that quality for this price. Recording starts automatically and it records in 3 min loops, comes with the SD card. You can watch the videos of your drives right on the screen by going to the âPlaybackâ option.Reverse camera is the only thing that is a little technical on this device, if you want the screen to show the backup camera when you put your car in reverse, youâll need to connect the camera to your reverse light. That is a little technical so watch a YouTube video. If not, you can just connect the reverse camera to the unit and click the camera button on the screen every time you shift to reverse.This thing records the front dash cam and also the reverse cam. So you get front and back footage in case of any event or accident.You can connect the audio from the device via Bluetooth to your car, Aux cable, or FM transmission.I connected it through the Aux input but I realized that the audio was lagging A LOT. So I just connected my phone to my cars Bluetooth, so I got clear audio with no lag and even got to use the buttons on my steering to control music and sound.The screen size is a huge plus as well, itâs easy to view everything and the sun glare doesnât affect it too much either.I highly recommend this product, it has very minor flaws that can be overcome with some adjustments. I think for the price itâs fair to say itâs not going to be perfect, but it does give you a very nice tech upgrade to an older vehicle.

Not even 2 months later and it won’t start up or stay on if it does
I purchased this device on May 23 2024 and barely 2 months later on July 26th 2024 I am writing this review to say that it won’t start up or simply turn itself off within a couple minutes, if that, after turning on. Making it useless after barely 2 months of use.Yesterday, the screen started flickering randomly after which it turned itself off and any attempt to turn it back on results in it turning itself off after a couple of seconds. Checked the power and that was working and active, it was just the device that no longer works. While this is on the lower priced side of these type of devices, I’d still expect it to work for at least a year or two. NOT just 2 months.On a smaller note, the device is too heavy for the base that its on, and therefore it’s more or less going to fall down to the lowest position overtime, regardless of the position you’d like it to be. As well as there being no EQ settings but the device already being set to increase the base unnecessarily. Resulting in many songs getting blown out. These were minor issues and not enough for me to justify returning it. But now I really wish I had.

Got this for my wifeâs car to replace the old cd player as it has no screen and bluetooth. I concerned with the low price, thinking the response time for the touch screen may be slow or not user friendly. But this Sivrock carplay give us a great suprise. The thing is so practical even if you get a newer phone, youâll have no worries. My wife loves it because she can use her phone for playing music, video by any app or radio!We got more than we wanted.You can even get an extra backup camera for revering with a such practical price.All in all, you can buy this with confidence, and in the event that it doesnât meet your expectations, you always have the 30 days to return it. It operates just like it says, works great!
This screen has been a fantastic addition to my car. It was straightforward to install. It took only 10 minutes to install, The touchscreen works wonderfully. My iPhone connected to it very quickly and easily; this displays my maps very clearly. My car didn’t have navigation or a backup camera. The camera is awesome the wide angle and has great picture quality.
