    Great dash camera
    Bought this camera as it was on a discount. Easy to install. It took me under 10 minutea. Great video quality. I love that is has Wifi so it can hook up to your phone. The Redtiger app is easy to use to download videos.

    Fantastic Customer Support
    My wife and I purchased a couple of these to install in our vehicles after an accident. Shortly after receiving them I get a message from the seller asking if I would like a hard wire kit. They apparently choose to not ship them but will send you one for free if it is something you need. I requested them and they arrived a couple of days later. When I was installing my wife’s I ran into an issue in her fuse block with the way I was trying to install it. I emailed and had a response within 12 hours with some recommendations. It was also stated that if this didn’t work I could send a layout of my fuse panel and it would be looked at by them and further recommendations could be made. Turned out to be unnecessary and that the original problem was caused by an oversight on my part.Post installation I tried them out and the video is of sufficient quality to do the job. I’m not reading license plates from a mile away but I can certainly protect myself in the event of an accident. The field of view is vey wide, which gives a little of a fish eye effect but you can certainly see a lot.Conclusion is that these are very good for the money as long as they hold up.

    Great bang for the buck
    I have purchased a half dozen dashcams over the years. From Viofio A118/9 (cheap) all the way to the latest Blackvue ($$$). I’ve never had issues or regretted a purchase except for the Blackvue which coincidentally is like 7 times the price of this Redtiger unit.This is my second Redtiger dashcam -I have a F7N in another car- and it works perfectly as advertised. Very happy with it and will continue to purchase Redtiger when needed. This isn’t a paid review, I did not get it for free. Save your $ and get this.

    If you value your money and time DO NOT BUY. If I could give this horrendous product a negative rating I would in a heartbeat. From the time I got it installed in august to literally now I’m November I have been dealing with their customer service on why the camera’s hardware system DOES NOT WORK. I have a 22 nissan rogue and got it installed by professionals. The hardware kit worked for 1 night and then never again. I’ve tried working with their customer service to get it fixed and no matter what we try it doesn’t work. Not replacing, not updating, not anything. So I decided I would take it back to the shop where I got it installed to see what they said. Here I am waiting for my appointment day and I get into an accident. BUT OF COURSE the camera doesn’t do the ONE THING it’s mainly supposed to be for, recording freaking incidents!! Like how does it record the minutes before and after the accident but not the accident itself?? Tell me how that’s possible?!! It’s like some sick joke. Not to mention the absolute joke of an app that they have. The camera has to be connected through wifi to the app, not Bluetooth like common sense would tell us, but wifi, fine, whatever. That’s not the biggest issue, the problem is that the app is laggy, very crappy, and you have to literally be in the car or at most 10ft away so you can connect to the camera. What’s the point if I want to check what’s going on when I’m inside my house? NOT LIKE IT MATTERS THE HARDWARE KIT NEVER EVEN WORKED. It’s a waste of money. I am so disappointed and angry at this, like all the other things would have been minor if it at least did the one thing I needed it to do, freaking record accidents. I needed the proof to show my insurance and instead I got 3mins of my car previous to the accident and 3mins of it sitting idly after. I just, I can’t even.

    Solid dash cam in a small package
    This is probably the 3rd brand of dash cam I’ve used over the years. It’s a lot more discreet/less bulky than the ones I’ve had, but that’s largely because of the lack of a video screen on the camera itself. At first I was hesitant to get something without a screen, but then I remembered that the screens on my older cameras were a bit of a distraction and weren’t as useful as I’d thought they would be because the menu navigation on those cameras was terrible. I just got used to taking the memory card out and viewing it on my computer.This camera is a huge upgrade to what I am used to. Installation was average (can’t really get around hiding the cables with any camera). The app is very simple and easy to use. I was able to connect first try with my Android phone, but it took some effort to get my wife’s iPhone to connect. I believe the issue was her phone kept automatically connecting to the car’s infotainment system even though I would disconnect it and I forgot to turn off mobile data. While the instructions were very simple and straightforward, it seems to be very important to follow them exactly. While my Android phone connected easily without turning off my mobile data, it was necessary to turn it off on my wife’s iPhone. Otherwise it wouldn’t even detect the camera. After figuring that out, I was able to connect and view all the videos and screenshots with no problem. The customer service while I did troubleshooting was top notch. They were extremely friendly and eager to help get things working right.Overall, this camera is simple, sleek, and has great quality video. I’m very happy with the purchase.

    Ok for the money
    Good picture and easy to install. The supplied power cable was dead on arrival so I’m using a usb-c cable from my dash to power it. The Wi-Fi connection sucks. I get about 30 seconds after it connects to use the app before it loses connection and I have to reconnect. To review video, I remove the card and put it in my laptop.

    The camera is great and quality is as advertised. Very easy to use if only using for driving, for hardwiring it’s easy if you know how to use fuse taps and a multimeter to find the right fuse spots (all of which anyone can learn on YouTube). Took me about an hour to get everything done, including hiding the wires which probably takes the most time. Very good for the price in my opinion.Update: Works great while driving and quality is good. However, having trouble getting parking mode to work, for now it goes into parking mode but does not record anything, will update once resolved.Update: parking mode recordings resolved, they are automatically sent to the “locked” video file so that they don’t get overridden which is neat in my opinion. So far this camera has been great and the customer service was awesome helping me along the way.

    Tuve una anterior cámara 4K de otra marca. Esta es más pequeña y añade la trasera de pequeñas dimensiones. Los cables que vinieron por defecto, me llegaron para conectar ambas. De momento, muy satisfecho.
