    Holy 80’s Rock Band Hair, Batman!
    This stuff is like voodoo magic. I have ridiculously fine and porous hair that gets weighted down easily by hair product, even those that are supposedly the holy grail for fine hair. I am not sure why I bothered trying yet another one, but I am so glad I did! It’s heat activated, so I dried my hair upside down for a bit, using fingers to add light tension and hold roots out and away from scalp while drying. Then finished by styling as usual. Hair was not crunchy, had hold but still lots of natural movement, and didn’t appear to lose much volume throughout the day.Not only was the end result notably improved fullness, but it also helped tame the frizzies, which meant less time with the straight iron and less silicone-based finishing smoother in my hair to weight it down again [Note: If your hair likes to frizz like it’s trying to win a million dollar prize for frizziest hair on the planet, then give TIGI’s Bed Head After Party a try.]For reference, my hair is cut in an angled bob with the back slightly above collar level and the front almost touching the collar bone. But I have the same struggles regardless of whether my hair is long or short, so this will likely also work in longer porous hair. (I keep saying porous because it’s really a thing…especially if you are a red head and have wondered if your hair is actively trying to sabotage you every time you pull the hair dryer out.) I think it would also work for non-porous hair…probably even better, since your hair won’t drink it up like you’ve just been on a 3-day bender in the desert.

    It really works!
    My hair finally has volume! Yay. I have tried all the other things that promised to give me volume. Blah! This one really works. If anything I have to tamp the volume down a bit! Downside is that it expensive on Amazon and can be bought for between $5 and $10 cheaper elsewhere.

    Volume and hold are great
    No stickiness. Just works on my pixie cut. Blew hair dry and mussed up with my fingers and it looked like I had not used anything but it held like I fixed it

    This stuff works!! I’ve always use the root plus but I use this in conjunction with a root plus now, and man my hair has volume for days!! No crunch no sticky feeling just volume and soft

    lightweight gel that adds curls and volume
    My hairdresser recommended this gel for my frizzy hair and i am surprised at how nicely it changes the frizz to soft curls. Highly recommend!

    Does what it claims to do. I’m a new fan!
    I have fine and thin hair and I’m always looking for products which will give my hair volume. I’m a Chi volume booster user, but this item has converted me as it makes my hair look thicker, and it gets less oily at the roots throughout the week versus the chi product. Using a generous amount, you have to let the product saturate your roots thoroughly for better results.
