    Impressive Earbuds with Advanced Features
I’m super impressed with the Skull-iQ Grind earbuds. The hands-free voice control through the Skull-iQ App and the Worry-Free Wireless capability with Tile Finding Technology are incredibly convenient. The Personal Sound and Adjustable Stay-Aware Mode enhance my listening experience, and the long 40-hour battery life is a huge plus. The 1-year US warranty gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend these earbuds for anyone seeking high-performance wireless earbuds with smart technology features.

Incredible sound and great Tile feature, Bluetooth a bit flaky
I bought these more for just listening to audio books on the treadmill, but the sound quality is great and they come with a lot of cool features. Sometimes I have connection problems. Here’s my takeaways after 2 months of moderate use.Pros:The app is great. I started by pairing the buds and setting up my sound profile, which took 10-15 minute of sound tests. In the app, I can customize all the controls and settings, which is more than I’ve ever had with any headphones (these are my first actual wireless buds). I haven’t tried things like the voice assistant or audio sharing, but I did set up the included Tile integration, which helped me find these a couple times already, so I highly suggest setting that up. Stay-aware is a great feature idea. If I’m the only one home, I’ll turn that on so I can hear if the dogs need to go out, but it hugely affects the experience of what I’m listening to, so I usually have it off. I imagine it’s much more useful while working outside, mowing the lawn, etc. Additionally, in the app, I can see the power levels of each ear bud.Cons:There’s two things I’ve seen with this. First is that I believe the buds should charge from the case even when the case is not plugged in but has power. I’m not convinced it’s doing this all the time. Second, and more important is the connectivity. 95% of the time, there’s no problem, but on a few occasions I’ve had trouble getting them to connect or stay connected. While it’s very rare, it’s very frustrating when it happens.Over all, I’m happy with them and enjoying the amount of features and quality for the price.

Edit: after 6 months they didn’t work
Edit: Had connectivity issues get worse as time went on. The left one always disconnected randomly until it quit connecting at all. Then it didn’t charge. Buds were always stored in the case. Never dropped. Nothing unusual. I wiped the connections. Tried all the troubleshooting methods. Nothing. Lasted about 6 months. I would not recommend or buy again. Not new to the brand. Always found Skull Candy decently priced and usable. I’m not really an ear bud person. I prefer over the ear headphones (I’ve been rocking the Crusher wireless for about 8 years now).Anyhow. I needed some portable buds I can leave at work as the funky, cheap, wired foam ones from work gives for free weren’t cutting it. Constantly got complaints my voice was muffled and unclear. These seemed to fit the bill.Cheap- affordable, didn’t break my budget, if someone steals them I can buy another set. I’ve had worse that cost more.Bluetooth- connects rather quickly. Way easier to pair between multiple devices than my Crushers. Can seamlessly switch between PC and my phone when I need to without needing to forget the previous device.Sound quality- Decent. They aren’t top tier. If your and audiophile these are not for you. But conversations, meetings, music, podcasts are all audible and clear. They do randomly cut out frequently which is more irritating each time it happens. Also, my left bud has quit working while wearing them more than once. The right one keeps working. To solve it I have to place it back in the case, close the case, and let it re-pair. I suggest keeping the case with you all the time.App- haven’t really used it much since the purpose was mostly for work meetings. If I delve into it I’ll update.Mic- voice command works. Reviewers mentioned muffled voice but I haven’t had any negative feedback since I switched to these. Which is awesome since voice quality was part of the reason I was looking to buy these. During phone calls while driving I do get told the background noise is louder than usual (traffic, wind, wipers). So the mic picks up more than it should.Battery life- So far they exceed expectation. I did a weeks worth of training videos every day and didn’t need to recharge the case. Every morning they were at 100%. A full 40 hour week in use and no need to charge. That’s a win.

    Defect when arrived
The right bud wouldn’t charge when placed in the charger unless I played with it. But then closing the lid, it would move out of place and stop charging all together then would reconnect back to my phone so I would lose sound on my phone until I turned off bluetooth. Faulty charging mechanism. These earbuds dont have the option to turn them off. The only way to turn them off is to put them back into the case charger. The previous Sesh Skullcandy earbuds can be turned off manually without the need of the charging case. These dont have that. Which is a shame. They’ll basically stay on forever unless placed in the charger. And in my case since it wouldn’t charge when placed back in the charger then it would simply stay on forever until it dies. The right earbud had a completely discharged battery when i first opened the package while the case still had charge left. That was already a bad sign.Had to return them. During the return process I was not given an option to receive a replacement only to get a refund. I bought them for $36 dollars and now they sell them for almost $50 so I cant even try and buy another pair at the same price and risk getting another defected pair.

    Blue Grey are sick colors!
They are comfortable, sound excellent (like JBL just cheaper) and feel like they’re not cheap. Easy to charge, case is solid and easy to carry with. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. Went from Beats, to JBL to Skullcandy. Still have the others but I love these!

Tried 4 different makes and models of ear buds, these were the best overall
Doesn’t have the sound quality of the JBLs, but the JBLs refuse to fit or stay in my ears. Tried 4 different JBLs, same issues. The Skullcandy only gets 3 stars for cell phone conversation quality, but music listening and ease of use is excellent. Highly recommend them for the price.

Have charged them once and use them most days, haven’t had any issues with feeling loose in my ear, between a bumpy bus ride, laying down, and on an exercise bike it hasn’t fallen out. The ip rating (water and dust resistance) adds a layer of ease, but the rating isn’t the best of the best so still be careful. Good in between of the cheapest and expensive earbuds
