Great headphones
Wanted a good pair of noise cancelling headphones for college and these have yet to disappoint. They are so cute (I got the pink color) and comfy! They are light and sit nicely around the ears. The battery life is CRAZY GOOD on these, like it keeps blowing me away. The noise cancelling is pretty good, and I like the different modes it has. Doesn’t cancel out super close sound but it does a great job in a cafe/library setting. The sound quality is great, no complaints there. The headphones themselves are also very nicely made and feel high quality. Overall 100% worth it for this price point.

Very nice affordable Headphones
I work in a printshop and like to listen to the phone audio throughout the day. Earbuds had began to fail plus I was concerned about hearing damage from the use of buds and wanted to switch to headphone that is Bluetooth compatible. I read a lot of independent reviews outside of Amazon to make my decision and it came down to these Soundcore headphones. I like them a lot! The sound quality for me is quite amazing for the price and they connected to my Motorola Stylus phone easily. The noise cancellation is configurable through a nice app to control the features of the headphones. It is easy to quickly change from cancellation to passthrough by touching the right ear piece for a couple of seconds. I found it interesting as the passthrough uses the headphone mic to pickup the external sounds along with what you are listening to. The external sounds do sound a bit electronic but the broadcast sound is barely affected. I have also used the headphones to receive or make phone calls and the quality of the calls is exceptional on both ends. Best of all I’m amazed at the battery life. I have them connected for 8 hours per day for 5 days and there is still 60% battery left at the end of the work week and to recharge them it takes approximately an hour and a half to full charge, a short 10 or 15 minute charge will get you through the day for sure! Comfort-wise, they are fairly comfortable but do get a bit warm wearing all day in the shop environment and they are a bit heavy at times, as they have a metal band, when I’m leaning over something to pick up off the floor they feel like their going to fall off. So if you are very active you may want to seek out a lighter headphone. For the most part I’m very happy with them. They also come with a very nice carry case including a usb c and direct connect wire for charging or listening to plugged into, say an airline audio system. You cannot power up when a direct connect for noise cancellation etc. and they work like the older analogue headphones that are wire connected, but through the Bluetooth these babies rock! Yes, I’d recommend these for anyone looking for a nice affordable wireless headphone.

Very good headphones for the price
I got these headphones on sale for $60 and I have to say, they are very good quality for the price. The things I like about these headphones are: The comfort (can barely feel them on my head), physical buttons instead of touch controls, pretty good sound quality, and the swiveling earcups make them pretty adjustable. The cons for me are: Loose fit (they donât feel very secure on my head, but I might just have a small head), too much bass (I know many people like bass, but I donât enjoy the amount of bass on these headphones; this can be fixed with the in app eq at least), and the actual soundstage of the audio (while the audio quality itself is good, the soundstage doesnât feel very wide). Overall good headphones if you want good audio quality and noise cancelling.

The best I have found for the price! FANTASTIC with my Kindle Fire and I’m hard to please!
I needed to replace my broken set of Anker Soundcore headphone that I sadly steeped on. The Soundcore has held up well a few years of nightly use but can’t take a full force of a right foot in a dark room from 250 pound man ( what could? ) I wanted to replace with another Soundcore set as I liked my first pair so well. These Q30’s area a great value in active noise cancelling headphones. I use these at night with my Amazon Kindle Fire tablet and many times fall asleep and these play all night so these are for the most part comfortable. I find the noise cancelling function works great for background noise, especially with white noise like from a loud window AC, an airplane or road noise from a car/ RV.The battery life is FANTASTIC! I use these headphones 8 hours a night and only need to charge them every few days but I never let them get below medium so I may could get a full week of every day use if I pushed it.I have owned my last set a few years and never noticed any battery issues so whatever battery is in these headphone truly last and last!I am an audiophile and a pro sound tech so I know headphones however, I did not buy these headphone to give me “The Best” or fantastic sound for listening to music as thats not how I use these. I use these headphones at night to watch Sling TV on my tablet or youtube at night but my reason for buying the Q30 is I want the best, natural sound without boomy bass for the price paid that feels good on my head if I fall asleep and offer great battery life and will hold up a few years of every night heavy use with great noise cancelling feature as I don’t like background noise when I try and sleep. If you move up the Anker line you can find models that offer hi res audio but do your research as the device you are using must also offer that higher res format. Even with me being an audiophile my fire does not offer that and these are used for sound from my tablet and sound very good to my ear and natural for my limited use. so I don’t need hi res playback but you may but do your research as not every cell phone etc supports that option. Do note that if you ever damage the ear pads, you can buy replacements on Amazon. These phones truly hold up well. In this world of $300-$500 headphones Im happy I can find a good set that hold up and I truly love for much, mush less.. These may not be a big brand name but are built just as well based on my years of use and being a pro audio person. Yes its plastic but so are many of those mega expensive brands. Give these a try as I think you will like them and the price is the happy spot, I think this is the minimum amount needed to be spend to get a good set of great performing wireless headphones that the battery last for days and days . I will always but Anker, very good products!

[packaging]Basic packaging. When you open the box, you are immediately presented with the case and manual.[inside content]Comes with a nice round-shaped case. The headphones and cables are inside of the case. They give you a pouch for putting in the charging and aux cable. I would have preferred if there was a dedicated compartment for putting in the cables. Also, it’s a bit awkward to put the headphones into the case, because you have to have the right earphone on the left side and the left earphone on the right side while the left earphone is folded, and both earphones have to be faced side down. You’ll just have to memorize the orientation when putting them inside the case every time.[material/build]Headphones is mostly plastic material. Don’t expect too much from sub-100 dollar headphones. The size adjustment is metallic. I think they are very comfortable to wear. I’ve heard about issues on build quality where the plastic hinges near the size adjustments would crack. But I’ve only had mine for less than two months so I can’t comment on that yet.[buttons/controls]On/off, volume, and play/pause buttons are physical buttons. But I think ANC mode switching is touch control.[wired mode]As for wired/aux mode, I’m unsure if EQ and ANC will work with wired mode since I haven’t tested it, so I can’t comment on it. As far as I’m concerned, I will never be using these headphones in wired mode unless I absolutely have to.[Soundcore app and custom EQ]The Soundcore app makes it super easy to adjust EQ. EQ adjusting is responsive and doesn’t lag for a long time like some other apps. Your EQ is saved in your headphones (tested with two separate devices; these headphones can pair with older Android from 2016). But you can also make a Soundcore account to save your EQ settings online. One downside of the app is that you can’t adjust EQ while your headphones aren’t connected, nor can you see your EQ settings. This becomes a nuisance for when you want to take a screenshot of your EQ settings to share with people who have the same headphones. There are also no horizontal line markings in the EQ setting, not even for 0 dB.Sound quality massively improves with EQ adjustment (I will update review later with a picture of the EQ, if possible). In the default setting, it doesn’t sound so good. There are also EQ presets for you to try, but I prefer to use custom EQ. After adjusting EQ, I think the sound quality is great and will probably beat many popular BT headphones that cost more than this (I got it on sale for 74.99 CAD not including tax). The app also has a feature for playing various ambient sounds to potentially help you relax or sleep, or just set a certain mood for whatever takes your fancy. It’s similar to the old iOS apps from the early 2010s that does the same sort of thing.[battery life]Battery life seems pretty good. But I tend to not use them for too long in one session.[sound issue (fixed)]I did encounter an issue where there would be a crackle sound (not too serious) in the left ear cup when I shake my head during ANC mode. It sounds like it’s coming from the plastic, but I only hear it when ANC is on. This problem is fixed when I sent it back to Amazon and bought another one. The first one I bought was 89.99 CAD. When it went on sale for 74.99 CAD about 2-3 weeks later, I figured I’d just return my old pair, buy a new pair, and see if the problem would go away.[ANC (active noise cancellation)]ANC is good enough for me. I don’t have a second pair of BT headphones to compare ANC performance to.With ANC turned off, the ambient sound becomes a bit annoying like a hollowed out sound. I always have the ANC on for that reason. I might have returned these headphones if I intended to use the headphones often with ANC off.[conclusion]Overall I’m very satisfied with these headphones. They sound great for music and movies. I would recommend them, as long as you plan on using custom EQ and ANC.

These have been my daily drivers for the last few years, and they are unreal. My partner, my mum and even my grandfather now all own and regularly use their own pairs based off my recommendation. I should be getting commission! They offer an incredible combination of high-quality sound, comfort, and advanced features, all at an unbeatable price. The active noise cancellation is superb, effectively blocking out background noise whether I’m working in a busy café or flying on a plane. The sound quality is rich and balanced, with deep bass and clear highs that make my music and podcasts sound fantastic.Comfort is key for me, and these do not disappoint. The ear cups are plush and fit perfectly over my ears, allowing for long listening sessions without any discomfort. The build quality feels premium and durable, which is impressive given the affordable price point. I’ve had gaming sessions as long as 8 hours straight where these headphones have not become uncomfortable. The battery life is another standout feature, easily lasting over 40 hours on a single charge. I never have to worry about running out of juice during long trips or extended use throughout the day. Plus, when they do get low, they’re fully charged in no time using the type C connection.Additionally, the connectivity is seamless with Bluetooth 5.0, and the multipoint connection feature is incredibly convenient, allowing me to switch between my laptop and phone effortlessly.Overall, the Anker Soundcore Q30 headphones exceed all my expectations. They deliver top-notch performance, exceptional comfort, and a suite of useful features that rival much more expensive models. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality, budget-friendly headphones.Five stars all day!
