[Full Coverage, Front and Rear] The TYPE S T400 PLUS dash cam for cars features a front-facing 4K camera and an optional 1080p rear camera. This dual dash cam setup empowers you to capture both the front and rear perspectives of your vehicle while driving, significantly enhancing safety. With this comprehensive coverage, you have access to crucial evidence in the unfortunate event of accidents.
[Minimize the Blind Spots] The TYPE S AI dash cam incorporates a crucial Blind Spot Warning feature to improve road safety. This system actively monitors the vehicle’s blind spots, alerting the driver to the presence of other vehicles in these hard-to-see areas. Using visual or audible signals, the TYPE S ADAS dash cam provides timely warnings, prompting the driver to exercise caution during lane changes or maneuvers.
[Front & Rear Collision Warning] Powered by AI Algorithms, this TYPE S 4K dash cam features Front & Rear Collision Warning, a smart cam with a smart system that alerts you when you’re too close to the car in front or if a vehicle behind is approaching too quickly. Using Ai dash cam advanced driver assistance algorithms, this dual dash cam provides real-time warnings, enabling quick responses and enhancing overall road safety.
[Lane Departure Warning] The Lane Departure Warning built into the TYPE S AI Series dash cam uses AI-triggered advanced sensors to monitor your vehicle’s lane position. If any deviation is detected, it issues a prompt alert, enhancing driving safety by notifying you of deviations and potentially preventing lane-related incidents with the wireless ADAS dash cam.
[Stop & Go Reminder] Stay vigilant at traffic stops as the front and rear G-Sensor dash cam by TYPE S recognizes when the car ahead starts moving while you’re still. Our intelligent reminder keeps you on track, gently prompting you to get moving and prevent any traffic disruptions, making it a reliable wireless dash cam.
[Pedestrian Detection] Powered by cutting-edge technology, this smart dash cam powered by Ai Advanced Driver Assistance is designed to identify pedestrians in your vehicle’s path, providing an extra layer of protection. Whether day or night, the TYPE S 4K dash cam’s precision ensures timely alerts, allowing you to respond swiftly and avoid potential hazards.
[Smart Incident Recording] In the event of accidents or collisions, the built-in G-Sensor dash cam will autonomously preserve, secure, and relocate the video to a distinct folder, safeguarding it from being overwritten by loop recording. This ensures that you can still access the incident footage even after several months, should you require it as evidence for insurance claims.
[Parking Surveillance Mode] Get 24-hour surveillance for your vehicle with Park & Record mode. When hardwired, the TYPE S 4K dash cam for cars with built-in G-sensor automatically awakens and captures a 20-second video when an impact or collision is detected, making sure the evidence footage is secure even when your car is parked and turned off.
[Easy Access to Videos] The TYPE S T400 PLUS AI-powered dash cam set seamlessly integrates with the Type S Drive app. You can forgo the necessity of physically connecting your dash cam or its MicroSD card to your computer. With the app accessible on both Android and iOS devices, you can promptly view and download videos to your mobile device via the dual dash cam’s built-in WiFi.

So far, surprisingly good, but needs different 3M adhesive for hot climates.
This was bought as a teaching aid for a student driver. So far, the lane departure warning works great, virtual bumper and stop&go reminder are excellent. Collision alarm has only been triggered twice on most sensitive settings. (We all drive conservatively.) Have not had the rear collision or blind spot warnings yet. Spoken alarms are handy. The video is solid, resolution is adequate to record the plate of that maniac cowboy who blasts past you on the highway.
The only negative is the mount system. We are in Florida, where it’s close to 100F daily in July, and the windshield gets even hotter. The electrostatic release film let go first, then the 3M adhesive that sticks the dashcam to the release film failed. Rear camera adhesive failed also. SO, went to Home Depot to buy a small roll of 3M indoor/outdoor Extreme Hold tape. Stuck both mounts directly to the glass, and problem solved. Just be _sure_ the mount is aligned before you press it on.
Overall, this camera seems well worth the $$ for the features involved. Of course, you will get lane departure warnings as you change lanes on a highway, or if it “sees” converging lines that it can’t identify in a merge/diverge area near an on-ramp. It’s not a genius, and you still need to do a quick head-check before maneuvering in traffic, but it works surprisingly well.

Decent ADAS unit for a good price
Adding this unit to an older vehicle without all the newer safety tech features does a decent job of improving awareness. The cameras provide solid resolution, front and rear. The ability to turnon/off and adjust sensitivity for the AI features is great. Of the feature it has, the lane detection feature is a bit weak. Too sensitive and incorrect at the Med setting and non-functional at the Low setting. Otherwise all the other features work well. Had it in operation for a couple weeks now. So far, so good.

Easy to instal and no professional technician needed
I though i needed a professional to get this installed, thankfully the instructions are simple and easy to understand. Connectivity to the app was not very good, they could have used bluetooth cause they used wifi and it interfered with my wireless carplay. The safety response i changed to high and worked very well. I hope they can address the connectivity issue. Pricey but worth every penny.

    Easy installation and set up.
So far I’m loving this dash cam. It’s replacing an older version. One thing I like is that it has a separate forward and rear camera. My other camera had a rear facing but it was on the main unit so it was filming me the whole time as well. I’m not one of those people who feels the need even if I’m videoing something to show someone to insert myself into the shot.
It yells at you when you are crossing a line in the road, take too long to pull away from a stop light if the car in front of you starts moving and warns you about imminent collisions. My car also has all those warnings so I’m getting double whammied. Of course, you can mess with what alerts you want to hear. So far the camera has been sticking pretty well. It has come down once, but I then pushed it back up and left it without the camera on it overnight to get a better adhesion. The vehicles get blazing hot here and even the best of adhesives tend to melt and release on the worst days. Not too much can stand up to the relentless sun, so we’ll see. Sometimes I have to find other solutions because of the climate I live in. The app… because of course there is an app… everything has its own app is actually pretty cool. I’m still figuring out some of the ins and outs but so far, It’s been great and the videos have been very crisp. Other than falling off the windshield that one time, I have no complaints. I would suggest mounting it and then taking the camera off for a day or night just to let it really adhere well before putting the camera on. It comes on and off pretty easily. I leave a little extra cord out (it can tuck out of the way in a slot behind my mirror) and that way if I want to pull it down without messing up the routing of the wiring I can. Of course, you can always just unplug it too.

    Great little device
Received the unit late Saturday. Installed on Sunday and just a few miles have been driven. Seems to do as described. I have not yet hidden cables. One big MINUS though. The instruction manual does not tell you how to callobrate the many uses. You have a settings button that displays the many functions, but does not let you know when pressed if they have been activated. I have not figured out the rear camera as yet. Yesterday it did not show when a vehicle came up on my rear. The Stop and Go function did work. YAY. I’m sure in time with useage, I’ll get it all figured out. However, I just wish the instructions had been much more detailed.

It only works as a camera
Mounted front and back cameras perfectly and connected with app. Lane departure works sporadically and collision warning not at all. More dangerous than not having as it doesn’t give an accurate data. Works only as a camera.
