We’ve continually brought the first 4K, dual & 3-channel dashcams to the market and we’ll go on exploring on best user experience and intelligence of road & parking protection.
[ 2.7K + 2.7K Front and Rear Dashcam ] Vantrue E2 front and rear dashcam both feature dual STARVIS sensors and an upgraded chip that records up to 2.7K+2.7K@24FPS crystal images simultaneously, providing you all the details you need such as license plates. The 160° front camera and 160° rear camera minimize blind spots and provide you with a wide field of view covering 4 lanes of traffic.
[ 2.7K Upgraded Rear Camera ] The E2 dash camera is innovatively equipped with a high-resolution rear camera of up to 2.7K(2592*1944P), giving you full driving safety protection not only from the front but also from the back. You will get clear 2.7K instead of the normal 1080p rear-end recording video evidence to protect you from false claims in the event of a rear-end collision.
[ Smart Voice Control ] Just easily speak simple voice commands to control the mini dashboard camera, allowing you to focus more on safe driving. Provide a safer and more comfortable driving environment for you. Voice commands (available in English, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese) support: take photo, turn on/off Wi-Fi, turn on/off screen, turn on/off audio, lock the video, video start, show the front/rear camera, show both cameras, etc.
[ Faster 5GHz Wi-Fi & Built-in GPS ] This pocket-sized dual dash cam features 5GHz Wi-Fi, allowing you to view and download videos faster with the Vantrue App, as well as share your journey with friends or family on social media. GPS information such as speed, longitude, and size can be embedded in the video. You can even view the tracks in the Vantrue App as well as in the VANTRUE GPS player on your computer.
[4 Parking Modes for 24/7 Protection] In buffered motion detection, the dashcam will save 15 seconds before and 30 seconds after the event once motion or crash is detected. Selecting low bitrate allows it to record video at 1080P 15FPS, 720P 15FPS, or low framerate mode to record video at low frame rates such as 1/5/10/15fps to save storage space. The hardwire kit must be connected to activate the 24-hour parking mode (sold separately, ASIN: B083XB8T7T).
[ Reliable Features for Emergency Recording ] The included wireless remote control is perfect for saving and locking important videos and photos while driving, so you won’t be distracted and drive more safely. When a collision is detected, the built-in G-sensor will instantly record and lock the video to the Event folder, so you don’t lose critical evidence you might need. Seamlessly looping video will automatically overwrite old files to make room for new ones.
[ Easy to Install and Use & Night Vision 2.0 & Lifetime Customer Care ] In parking mode, the low-light night vision function diagnoses the surrounding brightness in real-time, enabling the dashcam to record a clearer and brighter image of the current environment with low surrounding illumination. We provide replacement within 18 months. If you need a longer rear camera cable (29.5ft), please email the Vantrue support team to get it.

2.5K Front & Rear Cameraâs, Voice Commands, 5Ghz WiFi, GPS, Small Footprint & New Updated Cam App!
The VanTrue Element 2 (E2) is a high quality dash cam with 2.5K front and rear 2596 x 1944P @ 24fps 160 FOV (or 2K front and rear 1440P @ 30fps 160 FOV) with Voice Commands, and an additional small button remote that you can mute the camera and take photos from, 5Ghz WiFi, GPS and a very easy to use VanTrue Cam App!Iâm quite happy with my purchase. This is a very nice, high-quality dash cam. Unboxing is like unboxing a iPhone. The video quality (of both front and rear cameras) is really great. The camera is easy to install, the setup is straight forward especially with the accompanying app after connecting to the camera WiFi. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for high-quality dual dash cam with voice commands, 5Ghz WiFi, GPS and a very easy to use App!Installation:The camera comes with three USB-C cables, one connecting the front camera/GPS mount to the power outlet (cigarette lighter), one connecting front and back camera and a USB-C data cable (to connect camera to computer). I purchased the optional Hardwire Kit which connects the camera to the fuse block. It provides power to the camera and for parking mode. I routed the rear camera cable and hardwire power cable along the front windshield tucking under the headliner then to the left A-Pillar away from the airbag following exiting wires there and then down to the interior fuse box. I then continued to route the rear camera cable back along the top inside the door frames and headliner. When I got to the rear hatch I was able to pass the cable through grommets in the hatch then up to the rear window. Both the front and back camera come with very good adhesive and are easily attached to the windshield glass. The total installation took me about an hour. If you have done this before it should be much quicker to install.Setup:Once all wires were connected and the camera was working I removed the front camera and updated the camera firmware. To update the firmware you must download it from the Vantrue website support page. After downloading the file copy it to the root directory of your micro SD card. I purchased a PNY Elite-X 256gb which is working good. After installing the SD card in your camera and powering it up in your vehicle it will take a little time for the camera to update and turn on. Use the cameraâs buttons to setup the date and WiFi. Once that is done download the VanTrue Cam App to your phone. Connect your phone to the cameraâs WiFi to continue setting up your camera. Setup is always a bit tedious. This camera is no different when setting things up directly from the front display. That is why I recommend downloading the app which allows for a very easy setup over WiFi.Video Quality:Another aspect where this dashcam shines is the video quality. Both front and rear cameras capture very high quality videos at 2.5K front and rear 1944P @ 24fps 160 FOV (or 2K front and rear 1440P @ 30fps 160 FOV). The videos and snapshots are very clear both day and night.Operation during driving:Operation of the camera is very easy using voice commands. There are many commands available like taking a picture or saving a video. See the attached picture for a list of commands. This one one of my main purchasing points I was looking for. I seldom ever look at the cameraâs screen. I use voice commands and the app.VanTrue Cam App (Version 2.0.23):Although the rating in the app store is low the newest revision is very good. I gave it 5 stars. I have not encountered any problems with a iPhone 12 with IOS 16. Everything in the app is working correctly. One thing to remember is that you should have the most current firmware on your dash cam installed. To correctly run the app with your camera you must âTurn On Your Dash Cam WiFi Before You Start The Appâ do this and you should not have any app problems. You can still view your downloaded videos and snapshots without wifi and copy them to your phones photo gallery. The app also runs great on a iPad.Overall I am very happy with my purchase. I highly recommend the E2 if you’re looking for a high-quality dash cam.Additional Items That Can Be Purchased:The hardwire kit:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083XB8T7T?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsThe hardwire allows your camera to be powered with the vehicle running or off allowing parking mode features. It will power off your camera if your vehicle battery drops below a chosen setting (12v or 11.6v).Circular Polarizer Lens (CPL) for Vantrue E2 Dash Cam: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B2VMYQBL?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_detailsIt can effectively reduce reflections, enhance contrast and boost saturation while retaining neutral color rendition in all your shots.

Excellent Quality, Easy to use Dashcam
Excellent quality easy to use dashcamThe E2 comes packaged in a well designed, high quality box, with all the parts laid out cleanly. Seems like a simple thing, but this is a nice place to start if youâre wondering if you made the right choice on a dashcam. The user manual was well written and easy to understand. It took me about an hour to install the front and rear cameras. It was surprisingly easy to run the cable to the rear camera by keeping it along the headliner on the passenger side. I have a Durango and there was plenty of cable to run to the rear camera. Once powered on, the screen is bright and clear and the menu system is easily laid out.Once wi-fi is enabled you can change most of the settings from your phone which makes it a lot easier, especially if itâs mounted up behind the rear-view mirror. Connected to your phone through the app, you can transfer pictures and videos right to your phone over wifi, which is so much easier than pulling the memory card out and having to bring it inside to a computer. You can pull off just the photos or video you need instantly. When browsing the files the camera sorts them into three folders: Normal (which is the default storage for the video. In the settings you can set the loop duration of 1, 3, or 5 minutes) The camera labels all video and photos with a date and time stamp and an âAâ or âBâ to show which camera the recording was from. The second folder is Event: this stores all the locked videos. Pressing the button on the camera, or the remote or saying âlock videoâ will create a video in this folder and prevent it from being overwritten. The last folder is photos, which stores a snapshot from the camera when the button is pressed. After downloading the videos to your phone, press the sync button to add the download to your photo roll.Three things really stand out about this dashcam compared to others that I own: First, the picture quality is excellent for both front and rear cameras, and in both day and night situations. The cameras both use Sony high resolution image sensors and even though the rear is a lot smaller, the picture quality is as good as the front. You can easily read license plates from both cameras. Additionally, picture quality was great out the rear window, even though i have a fairly dark factory tint. There are settings for resolution, bitrate, and automatic exposure control, but the defaults all seemed to work great. Second, the voice control is pretty slick. Rather than have to move the mirror and hold the button to turn on wifi, you can just say âTurn Wifi onâ and the camera responds instantly. It was really responsive when using voice commands. (One thing to note: the list of commands is in the system menu on the camera, but puzzlingly not on the phone app) You can lock a picture, turn the screen on and off, select which camera (or both) display on the screen and a few other options with your voice. I was pretty impressed with how quickly the camera responded, there was virtually no lag and a confirmation tone pinged when it heard the command. Third is the little remote that comes with the camera. Itâs high quality and has adhesive on the back so you can stick it in a convenient spot on the dash. It can be used to mute the audio recording feature, and also to lock the video if you see something you want saved. Itâs a lot easier to press the remote than to reach up to the camera itself (especially if the camera is mounted on the passenger side of the rear view mirror.) It was something I didnât expect to use, but have found it pretty handy. After installing and driving around I hit a decent pothole and heard the camera indicate that it locked the video, which happened to be a good test of its collision detection without actually hitting anything. My only real nit about the E2 is the power cord (standard USB C) is hard wired into the cigarette lighter power adapter. The adapter does have a USB A port on it, so you can still charge your phone while the dashcam is plugged in, but it would be nice to be able to swap it out for one of my choice with more ports or whatever. (That said, the power throughput is high enough to still fast charge my phone, so thatâs a plus.) All in all, the camera has all the features and settings you could ask for without being overwhelming. Both front and rear cameras look and feel very high quality and do an excellent job capturing video in all sorts of conditions.

This is a big step up for my dashcam compared to my old suction cup mount.Firstly it has a small base making it look much nicer on your windshield.Secondly the double sided tape sticks so much better, the suction cup mount would randomly fall, especially after sitting in the sun, this one doesnât budge.Lastly, the screw design to tighten the position of the camera is much more sturdy then the only design, the camera doesnât move at all anymore.
