Customers say

Customers like the ease of installation and size of the electromechanical gauge. For example, they mention it’s easy to read and fits over the speedometer area of their truck. That said, opinions are mixed on accuracy, performance, quality, and value.

    Easy plug and play
I installed on my 2016 Nissan Rogue, and it’s worked like a charm. I plugged into the OBD under the steering wheel. Very accurate every time.

    Pretty cool
Very cool upgrade for great price. Makes it easier to keep my eyes on the road, I put it next to my radar detector to be able to monitor both readings without having to shift my eyes back to the main dashboard away from the road. It was really easy to installJust plug and play. Definitely worth the money. For my Q50 the reading is within 1 MPH of my dashboard speed.

    Pretty good, not perfect
I wanted a HUD for a years. I drove a few vehicles with OEM versions of this and it was pretty nice. The brightness is great at night, but difficult to see during the day while wearing sunglasses. While I have it connected to my OBDII port, it seems to use GPS for speed because the displayed speed varies slightly from my speedometer. I confirmed this with a GPS speedometer phone app. The HUD and app match each other, so it seems that my vehicle speedo is slightly off.It switches off automatically and does not appear to drain the battery from the OBDII port.

    Decent
The speed is fairly accurate, I’ve only been 3 mph off. The problem is the bracket and gel adhesive. It doesn’t stick when the dash is hot, or cold! It doesn’t stick to the window. And once it falls off it won’t stick again. If the charging port was on the bottom not the back I could adhere it with glue dots but it sticks out too far.

    Didn’t last over a month
It’s a very nice device (while it works), has the minimum I really needed for an HUD (to show the speed in the windshield so that I don’t need to take my eyes off the road while driving), but the longevity is pretty bad. The device looks good, works good while it’s brand new, and it might keep working if I would remove it from the car every time I get off, and I just plug it back in when I get back in the car, but if it’s left inside the car, I believe the heat damages it and it would just stop working (by showing 0 in the speed, or simply not showing anything or just get stuck showing any random speed you were doing when it failed).Right now it just doesn’t work at all and I’m stuck with 2 of them that are just completely broken and I have been unable to find out about the warranty for this item.Save your money until they develop a better version that would last longer. And I have to say I was using it during spring, when it wasn’t really that hot (higher probably in the 70s, lower in the 40s), but we know that cars get hotter while parked under the sun, and it just no longer works. I’m unable to return it as it’s been over 30 days when it failed and I’m left with 2 broken devices that worked great for a few weeks.

    Awesome upgrade for older cars
The speed is a hologram on the windshield. I bought two. Everyone who rides in the car loves it. You can see the speed in the daytime and at night. It’s an awesome upgrade.

    Temp sensor
My Volvo has no temp sensor. This is perfect for me to keep track of my temp. Great visibility

Great looking unit and very easy to read. However the respond time for speed changes both up and down found to be to slow for my liking

This device is supposed to read the speed via the OBD2 port but it is not identical to the speed displayed by the car. It shows a speed slightly above the actual speed, which gets worse the faster you go. I have a suspicion that the device is still using GPS for speed measurement and not reading it from the OBD2 port, as the cheaper GPS only device behaves the same way.
