    Cuts cleanly without a lot of force, good grip, nice carry bag
    I haven’t used all of the pieces in this kit yet, but the primary ones that I use all have things in common which I like. First, as someone who largely reviews knives, I cannot understate the importance of having sharp blades in getting a clean cut without a lot of force. If you have been using a clipper for years and it feels like you have to press hard to cut, and when it cuts, you have to use an emery board or file to get your nails smooth because it feel harsh and jagged, it’s time to get a new clipper.The blades here are all sharp, and when cutting, they leave the nail cut very smooth as if I spent a minute on the nail with an emery board, except I don’t need to follow up with one in this case. The movements of the hinges are all smooth and easy. The surfaces where you press down or hold onto have grippy ridges, which help a lot if you’re used to smooth surfaced clippers when your hands are wet or slippery. It’s almost as if Oxo made a nail clipper with these.They come in a nice carry bag with loops to hold all the various instruments. I like this soft bag more than the hard cases that I’ve had in the past, as it makes the whole thing lighter and more easily transportable in a toiletries bag. Overall this is a nice manicure kit.
